Yes chaps. Wish i had time to give more information to the fans but hey ho. Was getting a little choked up there but when it matters to you this much....

You spoke very well.

It's not easy holding your composure when you want to say a million things in two minutes.

Is it just me - or is the forfeit stuff been taken out of context a little ?

I mean, by all means use it as a stick to beat up Kean - but is it not just another of one his excuses that he has phrased wrong ?

Having said that - there would be some poetic justice if his misplaced spin led to him being sacked !

Sorry "Forfeit" is one word that any manager can never use... In any context.

It's about time that wicked tongue of his got him serious trouble.

You're being remarkably generous.

To "forfeit" is to give up. What other context is there?

He was trying to excuse the latest in a very long series of pi55-poor performances by saying he'd written off a quarter final before it had begun. This may indeed have something to do with trying to save face after saying the day before that he wasn't going to take the competition lightly.

But in any case, the excuse was unacceptable to the fans, it didn't wash and quite frankly it was as risible as the team's perforamnce.

He would be better served by re-acquainting himself with the concept of honesty, because carrying on as he is is an insult to the intelligence of the supporters and it will only serve to exacerbate the feeling of ill-will felt towards him by a greta many people.

I too wrote to Paul Hunt today outlining my disgust and asking for my money back. I also told him that I am going to contact the FA Compliance Unit tomorrow and ask them to investigate the comments from the imposter. I don't expect too much from them but I would be more than happy for them to write to the imposter and ask him for his observations/comments. Hopefully he will have to grovel and embarrass himself. I would urge other Rovers fans to do the same and ring or write to the FA.

Well yes, I don't think anyone here really believes what kean is saying on this. No reason why he shouldn't be brought to task for once for opening his stupid mouth though.

To whomever it may concern

I won't be the first to email today regarding last night's shambles (Cardiff City v some sort of Blackburn Rovers), and I will surely not be the last.

As you will most likely already know, I am asking for a refund of my ticket at the cost of £15 for last night's game.

As I, and four others were leaving the stadium last night I posted this to my Facebook.

"I've said everything that needs to be said about [steve Kean] in the past, tomorrow I shall be writing to BRFC asking for my money back. Pathetic."

This was met with huge approval from fans who had been to the game, the lucky ones who decided not to go, and even people who are not even fans of football, never mind Blackburn Rovers. They know for me to say something like that would mean it was a shocking performance which was totally unacceptable. I understand football clubs are going to lose games, and there would be no money left in football if every fan wanted refunded after a loss. Being a Rovers fan at the minute, these emails would be taking up all of my free time! Why include this tale? Because this is how I felt last night, before the stories broke of Mr Kean's ever so delightful post match interview.

This isn't an email to complain about how the season has gone so far, or how out of our depth the manager is, or how badly the club is being run from top to the bottom. You'll already know that. This is about Blackburn Rovers doing the right thing, and for them to refund the travelling fans who made the trip down last night. I had to book half a day off work, and have been like a zombie today after not getting home till 3am. But before the game, I thought it would be worth it. Quarter Final of the cup, a winnable game against a side in the league below, and ultimately, dreams of Wembley. It's what the cup competitions are all about, dreaming of getting to the final. Even Mr Kean was dreaming of Wembley, his quotes before the game insisting we would be up for the game, and it will be taken seriously. WHAT A LIAR. The team he put out was a disgrace, missing many first team regulars, and players who have not played this season, mainly for the reason they can't get into the team because they are not good enough. Don't get me started at the effort put in.

But then today, for me to read what Mr Kean to come out in his interview was an absolute disgrace. Forfeit? FORFEIT? Why did we even bother turning up? There was a lot of anger and bitterness towards Mr Kean before this game, that has multiplied out of control for many fans now. Whether the £15 refund (I appreciate this is all you will refund despite costs of petrol, time off work etc) comes out of Venkys or Mr Kean's pockets, I do not care, IT NEEDS TO BE DONE. Some respect has to be shown to the fans somewhere along the line, how about the club starts this process now? The club is alienating a lot of fans, the club is confusing a lot of fans, the club is LOSING a lot of fans. We used to be proud of our little football club competing with the big boys, we used to be proud that it was a fantastic model for our club to be run. Not any more. We are a joke. And that was a joke last night. Fact is, it's not funny.

Uncle Jack would not have stood for this. And neither will we.

Regards

As I posted earlier, he's clearly used the word forfeit without realising the full implications. The stupid bald twonk won't give a toss though... Venky's won't care, he's already infuriated the fans to pretty much breaking point anyway. If the club is forced to give refunds, so what? Again, it won't be enough for Venky's to care... and even though various employees at various levels within the Rovers hierarchy will be very annoyed at the extra work and headaches Kean is causing them... they'll know he's so tight with the owners that he's virtually untouchable by all bar Mrs D.

Well said my friend. 1% seems ridiculous now doesn't it? Keep that same fire in you come Saturday... Then give Mr Kean everything you have.

Good on you.
