Swansea must be gutted at losing to our shambolic outfit and showed their lack of experience at this level. An experienced Premier League side would have taken advantage of a Rovers midfield containing not a single player who can tackle or peform defensive duties properly. We desperately need Nzonzi and another holding player in the team.

This. Even Barcelona and Real Madrid employs one predominately defensive player in their midfield, our only option for that role is Nzonzi who can't do everything himself (even less so with two defensively rather weak fullbacks to protect and wingers who don't like tracking back). Of the many faults with today's Rovers this is the most glaring one, and Petrovic simply has to evolve into a competent PL player or we need to buy one more in January.

The Yak saying he is very disappointed with the fans on Radio Rovers.

Well, having amassed an awesome 10 points from 14 games this season, and been thrashed by a lower league side during the week to throw away our best chance of reaching a cup final for a decade, I think it's fair to say that the fans are more than just "very disappointed" with the players.

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Get clear of the relegation zone and then the players can have a dig at the actions of Rovers supporters.

Yep David Gest was there and he definately held up one of the yellow protest t-shirts at half time too!

Just got back from the game, thought 4-2 flattered us as Swansea where looking likely to make it 3-3 before the silly sending off. The for us to get the pen straight after was excellent. I'm wondering why the heck has Simon not been given a chance until now, given the chance to get up to speed with the prem he will be a great player in trying to keep us in the league. Don't really need to say much about the Yak other than two words: PURE CLASS.

Very strange atmosphere around the ground still, with Kean Out chants in the BBE after every goal, and plenty of 'stand up if you want Kean out' going on were it seemed like the entire BBE was on their feet.

On a game-by-game basis I can't complain too much tonight. Ignoring the fact we have a clown as a manager it was a much needed win. Bottom line is this needs to be built on, and that is something Kean has failed to do in his 12 months in charge. Atleast a point is needed next weekend, and then 2 wins against WBA and Bolton are essential to give Rovers a real fighting chance of survival before the Man Utd and Liverpool games. Not sure what will happen with kean, I suspect he will be kept on for sure after this win. However a resurgent Sunderland under MON next week could leave us in the brown stuff again after next week, making WBA another high pressure game.

It's shocking that you need to score 3 goals to beat a newly promoted side at home, BUT this was a game we couldn't afford to lose.

Even if Kean was sacked after this one, we can't drop all three points at home to Swansea. Delighted with the win and very happy that the protest went on regardless. It shows that we're not a fickle bunch.

What a prick of a reporter on Radio Lancashire calling us fans a disgrace!

I wonder what he will say at the end of the season in May, when we are relegated?

This was excactly the same situation as after the Arsenal-game. Suddenly everyone was slagging off the protests. Lets see what they have to say at the end of the season. I cant bloody wait!!

They seemed to have more passion to win the game than us. And so bloody annoying that first half 90% of fans was to get rid of the tw@ but after we was winning these so called fans turned against everyone else that was anti Kean which shows how fickle the fans are

Well, if ultimately we go down under Kean this season, those fans can be proud having made their contribution to make it happen.

If they don't want to protest then fine, but actually turning on those fellow Rovers fans who are unhappy with the shambles that is BRFC under the Venky's?

Anyone seen the stats? Swansea had 70% of the possession! Outrageous for the home team to only have 30% possession but a good win none the less.

Still want Kean out but we all know that's not going to happen any time soon.

Also, here's an interesting fact. As it stands, we've scored more goals than any team other than the top 5. If we could sort the defence out we'd be flying by now!

most of that possession was in their own half tho

Well that's really helpful, can't wait to see us relegated so you can say you were right?

This fan v fan rubbish has to stop, thankfully I saw no sparks at the game today

May I ask why?

Meeting with the club stooges to tell tales about the supporters who are being pro-active in this situation is, IMO, disgraceful. You are probably the guy who Kean is referring to when he says that the majority of fans love him. You should be aware by now that he will cling onto anything.

Just got back from the game. A 4-2 win but I've got to say it, as a team we weren't very good again - and we had to score three to win. We were all over the place in parts, the shape of the team just goes out of the window at times. But a fantastic goalscoring feat by Yakubu and it's a good win and three points well needed.

Swansea haven't won away from home let's not forget, their defense is worse than ours and they are still very much a championship team.

Yet as their manager said, 4-2 flattered us. At times it looked more likely they'd make it 3-3 than us making it 4-2.

We can't score three and four goals every week. Law of averages say we're going to get a win now and again.

Sadly Steve Kean is basking in post-match interviews like we're top of the league. And sad to hear Yak mentioning the fans, he should keep out of it.

But the really sad thing is that I think with a proper manager we'd be alright and this win's going to keep Kean in a job.

Well, obviously I dont want us to go down, it was just a way of speaking my mind - I think its very frustrating to see how 1 win can make people (especially media-pundits) forget about the rest of 2011 so far. Luckily the hardcore protesters wont let one win stop them, and maybe we will get what we want for christmas - KEAN OUT! :tu:

Great win, 4-2 flatters us big time though. 1 swallow doesnt make a summer.

Swansea missed Graham badly, but lost the game through bad defending at set pieces (Lita was marking Samba at most free-kicks), stupid sending off and stupid tackle for penalty.

Wasnt nice to see Kean goad the Blackburn End when we scored first goal. Its plain to see he has lost the fans, and I dont think that will change now.

Kean said on radio rovers afterwards that we controlled the game, and can now go on a long unbeaten run, and wants a clean sheet for the fans.

Plain to see our midfield is far too lightweight and no-one can tackle, we are desperate for a N'zonzi back.

I can see us being trounced by Sunderland, O'Neills first game at SoL, we look weak when anyone runs at us. If Swansea had been a bit more direct I think they would have scored more.

This with arguably our first choice defense..

Personally would have Givet at centre - and when fit Olsson at left back. However - the goals we conceded is only rarely about the defensive four - more often than not it is poor defending from midfield. Yet again Hoilett was extremely lazy when defending - and Dunn and MGP struggled throughout the match with the Swansea midfield.

Loving the comments complaining that we 'weren't very good' and 'the score flattered us'.

We just beat Swansea 4-2. The same Swansea that drew 0-0 at Anfield and only lost 1-0 to United last week.

The same Swansea that only Chelsea and City have scored 4 against this season.

The same Swansea that had only conceded 2 goals in their last 4 games (Bolton, Villa, United and Liverpool).

Credit where credits due. We weren't amazing - but we've got a vital win there.

Our only hope is that the owners will review the match - and have enough knowledge to appreciate how lucky we were (not holding breath on that one). Swansea looked for long periods like the home team - though I will concede that Kean was correct saying most of their possession was in areas that wouldn't hurt us - whereas we always looked threatening in their final third.

We will have to play drastically better to get anything from Sunderland - so that may see Kean out. Also - gotta say it is unusual for so many fans to chant for a manager to go when a team is winning - hopefully this won't be lost on our owners.

What a bitter / sweet day.

We desperately needed those points.

Let's hope that the directors / Venky's representatives saw and heard that Kean is a despised figured with Kean out chants resoundingly loud and clear throughout the match. He simply has to be removed in order to unite and save our club.

Swansea must feel in despair. Played some fantastic football but at the end of the day, the team that scores more goals wins, simple as.

Better teams will tear us to pieces.

Plus points Yak, Yak, Yak & Yak.

Unfortunately, without change, I think our joy will be short lived as MON & Sunderland and wily Roy & WBA will have too much for us.
