Hahaha, fukkin' hell, 3-2. Another 3-3 on the cards, perhaps?

Kean out, the master tactician! KEAN OUT!

But it wasn't, was it?

Kean switched the wingers late in the game to nullify the right hand side of their attack. He got a good result today and no one can say different. His tactics worked. Accept it.

When that was posted Swansea had 11 men and the scorewas 3-2. If he had posted that after the match the criticism from you would be valid.

David Gest.

The only thing tiresome about getting a win, apart than Kean staying in a job is that Arran re-emerges ready to polish Steve Kean's helmet by any means necessary.

Are you kidding? The only thing tiresome is most of you lot moaning about a win.

I've "re-emerged" because it's a match day and I have a life during the week which includes things away from a messageboard bitch fest :)

Also, not once did I see with my 20/20 vision (tested last week) Kean "giving it the big 'un" to the BBE when Yak scored. But I suppose you see what you want to see.

Nevermind though, If Yak likes Kean let's Boo him. He obviously doesn't care about the fans. Who by all accounts know more about football than any bugger in the game. Yak shouldn't have his own opinion and if he does he's wrong!

It's funny in a way that most on here think if they shout loud and long enough people will take notice and take them seriously...

Ps. How did the away scarfs sell?

I seem my own little personal boycott of Ewood has taken immediate effect.

If this carries on & set up a fund for you all to contribute to make it permanent.

It'll be in a good cause. Me.

I understand your point but I think mine is still valid. He knee jerked a reaction (and I suspect he wasn't at the game). I think we need to be calm and see where we are in a few weeks. Despite a poor (nervous) second half, we had a good result; I enjoyed the last twenty minutes for the first time in a long time and I want to get behind the club (the players are clearly behind Kean) and get ourselves up the league!

COYB!!.

Well, that's the first league game i've been to this season.

A win's a win. We needed points so very badly, and today we've got them. Whether it's good in the long run, i'm not sure.

Our back four is dodgy though, We're crying out for a left back because Givet certainly isn't a natural one and Olsson isn't either, he's more effective further up the pitch. Samba and Dann were Ok, Samba didn't do anything wrong all game and was steady as usual. Dann however scares the daylights out of me, so eager to get tight to his man and put a foot in, against better players, he'll get skinned and found out of position. Lowe, looks decent but i'm more eager to see him in central midfield.

It's quite simple, keep a clean sheet and the worst you can earn is a point.

Yakubu, well, he doesn't move much but he's got the instinct of being in the right place at the right time, and unlike the strikers on our bench today, he can put the ball in the onion bag. The first goal was an absolute pearler.

I'm a happy chappy right now, but it'll pointless if we don't put a run together now. Absolute minimum 4 points from the next 2 home games.

He is NOT liked by the players.

And far from looking stupid when we win, it just demonstrates the passion of Rovers' support and our determination not to have an incompetent lying moron in the dug out.

To be fair he is obviously liked by Yakubu and Dann who both went over to him.

I bet a lot of them worry about him and the effect on their careers though

We won, which is great, but it doesn't effect the view on the need for a change of manager.

Yak high fived Kean, the crowd boo'd, Kean then turned to the BBE and gestured - the crowd boo'd and sang Kean out - Should have gone to spec-savers!

I know the club shop had pretty much sold out.

The booing had already started when Yak approached Kean.

So for people to claim the boos started because Kean "gave it the big 'un" after Yak had walked away is plain daft...unless they're last name is McFly; then I'd let 'em off.

I agree. We do need a better manager. But who will come? No-one.

Maybe hughes if Venkys spend a bit (which they won't)

Other than that it's all has beens and duds. Oh and Ancelotti but that'll never happen either.

So rather than sack someone who is proven to be incompetent we should carry on regardless?

Yes. Otherwise we'd be completely rudderless. (please no-one reply with "we already are")

Who would you realistically appoint for a long term replacement?

Protesting either before, during or after matches REGARDLESS of the result is a united front and a show of unity from the supporters that they will NOT except Kean and the present shambles....its not hard to understand!

I understand why they did it, but certainly don't agree with chanting and booing during a game.

For me, I certainly recognise the need for a new manager because:

a). We need results week in, week out and Kean isn't getting them and I'd fully expect an experienced manager will get more out of this group of players.

b ). Kean has shot himself in the foot by entering into tit for tat arguements with a section of fans via the media.

c). Something has to break this awful cycle and negative atmosphere that us supporters are having to endure (and now some supporters are fueling).

Saying that though, the people chanting "Kean out" were blatantly prepared to compromise a win to back up their plight - and I for one simply cannot join in with that during a game because it goes against what I believe a supporter is. I'd like to think that you understand that the majority of supporters want Blackburn Rovers to win regardless of who the manager is, because points and survival are of paramount importance to the club's plight. Organised booing and chanting during a game (that we were never behind in) is just nonsensical and negative. I can only ever see it further alienating the protestors from the other fans, the players, and more importantly the media, who it seems the ringmaster is increasingly desperate to court.

What does it matter who I'd propose, you'd only counter it with 'they'd never work for Venky's, they'd never come if there's not millions to spend' etc

The booing had already started when Yak approached Kean.

It happened in such slow motion. Yakubu jogged slowly over to Kean, Everyone seemed to think the same thing...surely he's not going to celebrate with kean, The cheering noticably dropped as Yak got closer to Kean and when they high fived, the booing started. If we weren't in such a ###### position, it would have been a brilliant pantomime moment!
