According to most on here the players are not affected by the boos and chanting

According to Kean anyway!

I was right to be optimistic.

I must be some kind of lucky omen. Last time I posted before the post I just quoted was 20th September, the last game we won outright over 90 minutes. I may start posting more often.

Please don't.

You heard wrong, it did not happen. I was terrified that some may do so, but thankfully everyone remained respectful.

If it came across loud and clear on Football First then someone's added it (although I can't see why they would do that) in which case there needs to be strong complaints to Ofcom.

If I were you I'd be more embarrassed by your avatar. Coincidentally a few Burnley fans I work with have started pinning her picture up too.

Didn't realise this forum now has it's own avatar police...

I actually quite enjoy Braddock's posts...far more than some others around here that's for sure.

Disgraceful slur on Rovers fans. I did not hear any such chants only applause and tributes to Gary Speed. The only idiot fan is yourself - if indeed you are a Rovers fan.

I've met Fife and a real Rovers fan he is indeed (for several decades too), and a true gent.

I didnt hear any kean chants during the tribute, but be assured Fife will be on here to appologise if he finds the same on re-listening.

Im all for chants along the lines of 'Love Rovers, hate Steve Kean'.....but it should be chants of 'Sing your hearts out for the lads', not 'Kean out' DURING THE GAME, especially when winning.

So we are allowed to sing 'Love Rovers, hate Steve Kean' but not 'Kean out' when winning?

That doesnt make sense to me?

Avatar police because I said it was embarrassing? So if I say that I find Heather Mills embarrassing I'm the Heather Mills police? Who are you the embarrassment police?

If I were the avatar police pal I wouldn't have a picture of that woman offending peoples vision. They'd be banned from Blackburn.

How was the woodwork? Looks like you've had weeks of pent up "wind ups" built up inside you and brother Braddock. Get it out of your system quick, you will be back in no time.

Thinking about it. This game was incredibly important to win. Will never understand why anyone wanted us to lose.

Somehow Kean has it in his locker to win when we most need it.

We have had very tough fixtures at home this season:

Home: Wolves, Everton, Arsenal, City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Swanse. Only Wolves could and maybe a point against Everton could be excepted. Wolves stands out as the worst game where we had to play a very weak first xi. No yak or dann.

Away: Villa, Fulham, Newcastle, QPR, Norwich, Wigan, Stoke.

Away we should have done better against QPR, Wigan and Norwich. We all know that were very unfortunate against Norwich. We have always struggled away at Villa and Stoke and this season Newcastle have been a revelation and cant be compared to earlier seasons.

With this in hindsight and also the rise on form after Clement came in I am a tad more optimistic than earlier this week.

It is crucial that we win against Wba and Bolton + maybe a point against Sunderland (i think we will win).

In 2012 we have the following games to look forward to take points from:

Stoke, Fulham, Wigan, Norwich, Sunderland, were we can get 3 points. We can also sneak something away: Swansea , WBA, Wolves, Bolton.

I think this eason equal to last season will be very tight.

How is a home game against Swansea hard?

The away games we played weren't tough. How many did we win?----0. How many points did we get out of 21?------3!

I find it hard to believe we can "sneak" many points away given that form.. And, for the most part, we were bloody aweful.

Our home form is the worst is been for years----2 wins out of 7.

The stats don't lie. Our record is far worse than last season when we only avoided relegation on the last day.

I can see no reason for optimism whatsoever. Under this manager we neither have the personel, nor are we set up to win nor do we even have the basic fitness.

Just a question--why have you put this exact same post on the relegation thread?

Another thing Alexanders - goals conceded :

Wolves - 2

Everton - 1

Arsenal - 3

City - 4

Spurs - 2

Chelsea - 1

Swansea - 2

Villa - 3

Fulham - 1

Newcastle - 3

QPR - 1

Norwich - 3

Wigan - 3

Stoke - 3

Don't think anyone's going to argue that WBA and Bolton won't be important but based on the likes of the above (and how it's not improving) I'm struggling to be optimistic.

So we didn't need to beat Wolves and Everton at home and QPR, Norwich and Wigan away? Because if we had we would now have an extra 12 points from what must be considered as relatively easy games.

Wolves at home I agree. QPR, Wigan , Norwich away I am happy with 1 point

I don't know, at Norwich losing a decent lead like that was unacceptable. But I'm one of those that thinks Kean invited unnecessary pressure with his substitutes. I'm not one who believes it was just bad luck.

Right then here goes. I have listened again in the presence of another whose hearing is perfect and she was not absolutely sure what was being sung from the Blackburn End but she is fairly sure it was not "Kean Out", and might have been "Speedo" or something similar, and with that I am here to say that I accept my ears deceived me and I was completely wrong. Therefore I now offer my very sincere and unreserved apology to all. I am truly sorry for a grave error of misjudgement.

I would also like to add that I am actually very happy and relieved to have been wrong in this particlar matter for it shows that the people who support Rovers today are still as they always have been in knowing when to show proper respect and to leave aside for a short time their other feelings of concern regarding the current attrocious management at our club. That's the way it always has been throughout my 65 years as a Rovers fan, and I am happy that it is still so today.

I agree.

We did invite unneccesary pressure, but the way the penalty came about and the deflaction - we were very unfortunate.

If those were our opening fixtures last season under Sam, or a few seasons ago under Hughes, what would your expectations have been? This is one of the most disappointing aspects of Venky's reign for me, our once high standards have diminished so much. We used to go into home games fearing no one.
