The team I would pick for Saturday's game is:

------------Robinson

Henley---Samba---Givet---Olsson

Simon---Lowe---Pedersen---Rochina

------------Hoilett

------------Yakubu

The team and formation I expect Kean to go with is an effective 3-5-2 formation and the following starting 11:

-------------------Robinson

---------Ribeiro---Salgado---Hanley

Roberts--Blackman--Anderson--Petrovic--Bobby Mimms

----------------Kean-----Agnew

What i expect Kean to go with.

------------Robbo

Sally---Samba---Dann---Givet

--------Lowe--Dunn

Junior-----Peds-------Olsson

------------Yak

Seeing as how he forfeitted the game on tuesday and said that Samba, Sally and Olly were left at home he has to play all 3 now. He loves Dunn and Peds so they wont be dropped.

Peds maybe swap with junior.

This. Prefer Junior in behind and I'm desperate so see Simon start a league game (missed Spurs as I was at a wedding) and by all accounts Henley sounds a decent player. I know I shouldn't with him in charge, but I can't help but feel like we are going to get 3 points this Saturday.

Robbo

Dann Samba Givet Olsson

Lowe Ped's

Vuckevic Rochina Hoillet

Fat Yak

For me it's about the only decent formation we can play and get most of our strongest players out there. Lowe has to move into midfield for this one, we are as light as a feather in there, Givet and Samba in the middle as at least when they have played there we have had some semblance of a defensive force.

Guest Rovers4Good

Is Robbie Cotton not suppose to be a tough, box-to-box midfielder?

Is it his turn yet?

Yeh really tough, He's about 4 stone when wet and i've seen more meat on a butchers knife but he can pass better than most in the first team but as for a tough cookie i'm not sure.

Samba is back in training alongside Salgado so i expect them to come straight back in the team although i think Salgado is well past it and prefer Lowe at right back. Also, Grella has only just started running again so i wouldn't expect him back within a week and Dunny wasn't out training today so read into that what you will.

Now I have been playing a lot of Call Of Duty lately, and I am hearing rumours that the scum are preparing a plain to go over Ewood with something along the lines of "keep up the good work Kean" or something like that. Now I think we need our rocket launchers at the ready if this happens! this would be very embarrasing.

As Eddie said it could be exactly what we need to show Venky's just how much of a joke he is.

The Dingles are the ones shooting themselves in the foot if they do that.

You've quite clearly made a mistake. You've only got one Anderson in the team. Where's the other one gonna play ????

Totally agree. The best evidence yet of how bad he is. Sadly Venkys still won't get it.

Here's another sobering thought.

Rovers v Burnley, Ewood Park, August 2012...

...with Kean still in charge.

I too heard the Bumley fans were going to fly a plane over with a positive message for Kean, it would be absolutely hilarious if Kean tried to take credit for it thinking it was the Rovers fans backing him and the interviewer told him it was Bumley fans.

It would almost be worth him not being sacked just to see his face.

Think you have to go for experience and try and sure up the defence, I'd play 3 at the back so when sally and Olsson go missing there is always a spare man.

for me the game will be a side issue, my main focus will be on helping to get rid of that vermin from our club, i dont care if rovers win 5-0, the damage has already been done and no ammount of upturn in form will detract me and many other from removing him from our club.

Its difficult to pick a competitive midfield from our squad isn't it? What alternative midfield would you suggest for Saturday? Not sure I can think of anything better. I suppose Olsson shifted to left midfield with Givet left-back but its the central midfield area that is weak (and has been for years).

Your right, I've no answers either. That's what the years of neglect ( by the Trust and Venlies ) have left us with, a squad full of chumpionship standard players. That's why we are where we are, and barring a miracle of biblical proportions that's where we'll stay.

I have to say Ive been pleasantly surprised by the turnouts of the home and away fans considering how badly we're playing. To still get 20k+ for each home game and to take approx 1k away to Cardiff is impressive.

I want Rovers to win on the weekend. Kean's here for the foreseeable future. By the time he's fired we'll already be relegated and Im beyond getting angry about it. Im just resined to the fact that championship football is awaiting us in 9 months time.

In terms of team line ups, well assuming all are fit:

Robbo

Salgado Samba Dann Olsson

Vukcevic Lowe Petrovic Pedersen Hoilett

Yakubu

Gives us a fighting chance of Swansea not just overrunning us like every other team can. Allow Hoilett and Vukcevic to push on as the game unfolds.

Can't see a win. Scoring draw at best as Im fairly sure we havent kept a clean sheet all season (?)

Considering we are all over the place with a standard back four trying to adjust tactically to a back three seems crazy. Huge likelihood of total confusion about who marks who and who is covering wha space on the pitch. These srts of changes you introduce when you are stable and the team has a good confident understanding of one another.

On top of that three at the back is virtually never used in the Premiership for a reason. The gaps down the flanks are brutally exposed by quality wingers, and Swansea have two of those.
