jim mk2 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Further to my previous post and thinking again if Kean does not go after a Swansea victory then he is never going to leave of his own volition and only a massive protest which might possibly turn nasty might make him change his mind. The mob can rule.....

LeChuck Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Hoilett a doubt. Although he hasn't been playing well recently, we could do with him tomorrow. He's the only player in the squad who can beat a player. There has to be a place for Vukcevic then, surely?
Darwen_Blue Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I don't know if this has already been posted but I've just heard from someone who is a steward at Bolton that they are supplying extra stewards for the Rovers game tomorrow.
Andy Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 This has 1-1 written all over it, for me. Kean will spin it as a 'positive result' and will keep his job for another week.
alexanders Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 This has 1-1 written all over it, for me. Kean will spin it as a 'positive result' and will keep his job for another week. Worst possible scenario.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 It does look like we have hit that point of a ‘no-win scenario’. - A Rovers win will mean that Kean stays for the next 5 or more games. Looking at his record we will in all likelihood lose most of if not all of them. If that happens we are good as down. - A loss will mean we really get cut adrift from the pack in the race for survival. Even if Kean goes as a result of the loss the next manager will have to do a miracle of a job to keep us up. - A draw is just as bad as a loss, nothing changes. The ideal scenario of Rovers winning and Kean going at the same time surely has no chance of happening. For the record I do think we will win tomorrow. Every time Kean has been facing a must win game and the pressure has really been on him he has managed to sneak a win. A Rovers win will see me shed a tear instead of opening the bubbly thanks to Venky’s, the ones who have put us in this ‘no-win scenario’.
lowerdarwenblue Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I don't know if this has already been posted but I've just heard from someone who is a steward at Bolton that they are supplying extra stewards for the Rovers game tomorrow. They definately had extra stewards from Bolton at the last match against Chelsea so i would have thought that tomorrow they will probably have even more.
lowerdarwenblue Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Regardless of your view about Allardyce and his tenure at Rovers, how about a few renditions of "Big Sams Barmy Army" tomorrow. Surely that will let The Weasel and Venkys know exactly what we think of them. I feel sick to the stomach thinking that Kean is just never going to be sacked.
ruggles1995 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 IF we loose 2moro and he does not get sacked then we are going to have to over step the line in our actions surely arent we? Surely that will let The Weasel and Venkys know exactly what we think of them. I feel sick to the stomach thinking that Kean is just never going to be sacked. Or "Mark Hughes Barmy Army" ..........
SharrockDownSouth Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I don't know if this has already been posted but I've just heard from someone who is a steward at Bolton that they are supplying extra stewards for the Rovers game tomorrow. One of my mates was asked to work weekends to form part of a doubled personal protection for Mr Kean this weekend.. (He said no)

OJRovers Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I've done some analysis on Steve Kean's HOME games (league and cup) and which ones i've been to, the results are completely true and staggering: GAMES I HAVE MISSED: W - Liv W - QPR W - WBA D - MANU W - SHEF WED W - ARSENAL W - LEINTON O W - NEWC GAME I WENT TO EWOOD: L - Stoke L - TOT D - NEWC D - BLACKP D - BIRM L - MAN C W - BOLTON L - WOLVES L - EVE L - MAN C L - TOT L - CHELSEA I am NOT going to the Swansea game, so if we stay true to form I can only see us winning! Can't believe how unlucky I have been with fixtures! I've been to Wigan away twice too, One defeat, one draw.

Or "Mark Hughes Barmy Army" .......... I agree, we could put in any previous managers name (and i include Kidd and Ince in that !!!!!!)

Lathund Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 "whilst Junior Hoilett will need a late check after being sent home from Cardiff with a virus. "Junior is on strong antibiotics and was in bed for a couple of days," added Kean." So our medical team treats viral infections with antibiotics?? No wonder we have injury problems if that's their level of competency. (Yes I do realise it's probably more likely that Kean misspoke, but still...)

Backroom Tom Posted December 2, 2011 Backroom Posted December 2, 2011 2 weeks after saying David Dunn should never wear the blue and white again it sadly looks like he'll be in line for a start tomorrow.
walk down bolton road Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 2 weeks after saying David Dunn should never wear the blue and white again it sadly looks like he'll be in line for a start tomorrow. COCO promised him a bucket of chicken to play.
Amo Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I am NOT going to the Swansea game, so if we stay true to form I can only see us winning! And wouldn't that be great? Get your ass over to Ewood on Saturday.
