Some managers, i.e. Sam can walk into a club and do with what the club has, damage control specialist. That Villa team was crafted by O'Neill, I'm sure his style though should mean Sunderland can see some positive changes right away.

Sunderland's next few games, Wolves (a), Blackburn (h), Spurs (a), QPR (a), Everton (h), Man City (h), all of December's games. O'Neill seems a decent sort, I've always liked him so we'll see. It doesn't look like a bad 6 games to start with, of course, Man City will be formidable, the rest, perhaps a chance.

I believe even though we are in trouble with regard to our league position we can still attract a good manager. The club is ripe for someone to come in and turn things around and get rewarded. The Pune clowns will be dying to see the fans warm to them. The only way that will happen is if they sack the tw@t.

I wonder if it's possible the club have sounded our all of the credible candidates and been told to go forth and multiply?

Now that is a depressing thought.

Just get him out and stick a cardboard cut out of a crouching Mourinho next to the dug out. Couldn't be any worse...

For people to say we're screwed whatever...we can easy get safe if a new man comes in now...and it needz to be immediate. Shearer and Mike Newell.

Given that I'd take ANY manager over Kean, I'd take either or both of those.

I'd particularly love Newell to get his feet under the table for a few weeks, then expose the whole ###### charade.
