Audax Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) Pretty LIttle Angel Eyes - Curtis Lee got to agree with you there TS, unfortunately for Bobby he did fight the law and the law won although officially he committed suicide by drinking petrol making other people rich off the records royaltys That's sad, interesting write up here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Fuller .And he way only 23... one wonders what he could have done, sounded very talented. Here is a long essay on Bobby Fuller as well: http://www.aaronpoehler.com/strangecase.html The below quote from wikipedia, couldn't seem to add on below it. t a time when the British Invasion and folk rock were the dominant genres in rock, Fuller stuck to Buddy Holly's style of classic rock and roll with Tex Mex flourishes. His recordings, both covers and originals, also reveal the influences of Eddie Cochran, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, and the Everly Brothers, as well as surf guitar. Less well known was Fuller's ability to emulate the reverb-laden surf guitar of Dick Dale and The Ventures. Edited March 18, 2013 by Audax Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 (edited) Crimson And Clover - Tommy James and the Shondells. re The Bobby Fuller Four, they did a great version of ' Love's Made A Fool Of You ' as well. His death was a great loss and very, very suspicious. Looks like he crossed the wrong person. The Crickets original of " I Fought The Law " is pretty good also.
