Who does the buck stop with, interesting and key question?

Can the Rao family ever be in a postion to speak with fans themselves or does their lack of understanding prohibit them for doing so – I don’t mean having a sit down chat however we never hear from them properly – apparently they have stated they would not do anymore live interviews.

As they have little/no experience who is providing the guidance on football matters?

Why was the feeling behind the scenes in the summer, at Ewood, that we need to sort out our financial situation and avoiding relegatino would be regarded as a sucesss.

Think we as fans always need to rememeber and accept that the number one reason Venky’s are involved with the club is to promote their own brand.

SACK STEVE KEAN

What needs to be done bar the Sacking of Steve Kean for you to feel more comfortable with the situation at Rovers?

I'm sorry Glen but there are no 'bars' about it,Kean needs to be removed asap..what have we been protesting about?

Appoint a new manager and unite ALL fans together fully behind the new man and team for the second half of season...then we

'might' stand a chance

This says it all Glen - simple and understanding an by far the most important.

Forget all the lines of communicating points and issues at this stage - that will fall into place once the buffoon is removed.

Its the present and immediate future (what is visible) that needs sorting first - the rest comes after (most people not interested in the behind the scenes document signing etc)

By removing the joke at the front, will more than likely endear people to accept Venkys at their word and maybe create fresh starting point (even though its possibly too late for a lot) and at least lift the cloud that hangs over the club at the moment.

As some of you may or may not be aware Simon and I have been interacting with the club now for three months, Initially these were surrounding protest, and health and safety etc.

I do not like this divide, wedge or whatever we care to call it which has happened amongst supporters. We could sit here and debate that until the end of time and get nowhere and therefore IMO is non-procuctive.

When people protest they are usually protesting about something and its this root which needs addressing for anything to move forwards. I am pleased to say we have engaged in conversations with the club for a way forward. However I'm asking ALL our supporters, it does not matter what you think about protest or about the people who have protested, the wrongs and rights will never find a common ground as wounds are always re-opened as football is a passionate game with so many opinions.

The question i'm asking is what needs to be done for all protest to cease, and for us to move forward as a fan base and club?

What are your concerns?

What questions do you feel need asking, but importantly require answers for you to feel that you are informed?

What needs to be done bar the Sacking of Steve Kean for you to feel more comfortable with the situation at Rovers?

Who do you think we should be talking to and getting the answers from?

What is beneficial to all supporters for a way forward?

At what point do we say, "We have asked the questions , we have got the answers and now we move on"?

What sort if meetings need to take place? Do you think meetings should be done in person, over the phone, via email and do you think any such meeting should be minuted?

What can the board of directors do to help you?

There is many questions and many concerns but we need to now be looking at solutions, as this stand off has gone on for three months and I don't think anyone can honestly say they want this stand off to continue, Please put your thoughts in this thread and please email me at.

My own personal thoughts are any meeting should have people attending from all divisions of the supporters and these people should be chosen democratically by the supporters. Not all supporters are members of this site, or any other site, not all supporters use the internet and not all supporters buy newspapers. However all supporters have an opinion.

Once we get down on paper what people's concerns are then things can move forward, The club does want to engage in talks, however I believe it has to be done the right way and benefit all.

Four words: Venky's Out, Kean Out.

After all Venky's have done to jeopardise not only our Premier league status, but possibly our long-term survival as a football club itself (especially considering allegations of mortgages against the club, and the debt owed to Barclay's). Certainly, our dignity has been vanquished. We've probably already lost a chunk of our traditional fan base due to Venky's disruption as well. In light of the series of damaging moves and mismanagement by Venky's, their ownership's legitimacy cannot be amended by talk of big signings, free concerts and the occasional trip to Pune. We can no longer trust these people, and so, they are the ones that need to go along with Steve Kean.

Off the field we are in desperate need of structure, stability and clear leadership. We need a chairman to liase with the owners, decide on budgets and communicate with the manager. The way things are being run at the moment are farcical to say the least. Imagine the worst ever calamity on 'The Apprentice'. It's like that.

For the owners - they need to buckle down and decide what direction they want to take the club in. They really need to work on their communication. The timings of their silences and PR outbursts have been embarrassing from day one.

On the field.Well,well,well. That one is your classic hornet's nest, isn't it? Since this time (roughly) we have been a shambles. There's no other (polite) word for it. What really frustrates me is the fact that toward the back end of last season,we really were showing signs of progress. Away at Arsenal and Wolves, and at home to Bolton and Man U, we looked like a decent and hardworking side, capable of getting points on the board. Since then we've been spineless. Spineless.

I've said it before. I couldn't care less about Kean being follicly challenged or a tad on the chunky side(ha). But the bread, butter, meat and potatoes of the situation is that he has an absolutely abominable record. He should have been gone long ago. The stories about the Swansea game saving his nether regions (I cheered at the screen when we won, screw you all who'd damn me for that) make me feel particularly nauseous, because win, lose or draw, he should have picked up his P45 a long time ago.

If the owners had a clear, realistic vision coupled with a proper chairman at Ewood, he'd have been gone baby gone before the Summer transfer window opened.

None of us want pie in the sky Champions League waffle and you can stuff your Ronaldinhos and your Beckhams. We want stability. We want structure. We want Ewood to be a fortress again. We want to be the team that the media loves to hate for sticking it up the glamour sides who don't fancy a 50/50 on a wet, windy Saturday evening. We want a side to believe in and a club to be proud of. No guff, no bull, just honesty of effort on the pitch and integrity off it.

Should be simple,right?

From my perspective as a technical manager (Now more analyst/consultant/management consultant) who has had to deal with foreign cultures on a regular basis I would like to know what you would feel about using a more formal approach? From my own experiences I have found that the best method for getting the point accross is not direct lists of issues then a list of solutions but breaking each issue down and going through each one with elements of proof, solutions and risks.. i.e. Issue - Proof or why we believe this to be the case - Possible solutions - Risks in not fixing this issue.

I would also seriously avoid directly making issues directly about individuals etc but point out individuals failings indirectly..

For Steve Kean the trust between himself and Venkys can be destroyed.. but telling them to sack him will more than likely cause them to do the opposite. I would raise general issues with quotes etc from Kean as the reasons for these being issues.

Negativity at the club - He changed tact talking in negative terms and finally took responsibility for poor results in recent interviews even stating we forfeited the Cardiff game. Press comments about Kean being deluded. Considering his positive approach was clearly outlined in the attributes he got the job in the first place by Mrs D that may make a dent.

Fans worried we do not have the experience to avoid a relegation battle - His management credentials are clearly outlined as none existent never mind his ability to keep Blackburn afloat, and few of our players have faced relegation battles.

Current form and confidence form will change - Kean has stated so many times judge us now, season starts here, we are playing well etc etc.. that fans no longer have any confidence in what he says and form to date has been consistently bad.

Fans feeling ignored - Keans comments about minority of fans, blasting fans for protesting and press comments backing up the general feeling.

Any digs at Kean should be.. hmm how to put it.. tailored.. so if you have to have a dig for example.. we feel Kean is an exceptionally hard working person but feel that mistakes are being made due to him having to work extremely hard to make up for his complete lack of management or assistant management experience and training.

List for reasons to get rid of Kean are pretty much endless..

But I don't know about others but some of the issues I would like addressing are:

Club finances

Current form on the pitch

Confidence things will change none existant among fans

Communication with fans causing issues - Culture differences? - Possible solutions include them getting a cultural advisor

Negativity surrounding the club inc Bad press

Inexplicable football decisions - Lack of advisors who do not have a vested interest - Maybe getting ex players to offer to advise.. e.g. Hendry and co

Lack of a UK based chairperson

No clear goal (What Venkys want to acheive, how Venkys will acheive it and why Venkys want to acheive it)

Lack of trust in regards to Venkys actions

And the most important for me the Speed of decision making/transfer process and how these decisions are made (will be utterly fatal to us if we mess around again this January)

Sorry I do not have the time at the moment to write them out fully.. but I would consider approaching each one with Issue, Reason/Proof, Solutions, Risks.. therby backing up each issue and providing an appropriate warning. As an example on finances it would be worth pointing out we have seen companies house stuff, the publically available mortgage document and Mr Kean confused fans with his largest ever budget quote then bank restructuring quote.. although the solutions to that are entirely down to them it can be used to highlight communcations issues.

As for meeting them, it is a very tough one, but I would limit the number of fans in the actual meetings considerably to avoid any communcation issues. Make the meetings very structured (with minutes and Agenda) and I personally believe the input of many but the participation of few (1-3 people) will focus things more. Also from a Psychology perspective it actually works in your favour by making them not feel intimidated or outnumbered (I always make sure the clients team outnumbers or matches my own).

Dang it I am supposed to be working..

Bored with this now.......

Kean is stayin till it's too late. FACE UP TO YOUR FUTURE, or pray for a miracle. Either way the work done so far, no matter how good, has not removed him. ONLY continued failure will remove him and as I said "too late".

What are your concerns?

my biggest concern are that there is noone in the club who are in charge. Everything must go through india, and noone in the club seems to know what is going on.

What needs to be done bar the Sacking of Steve Kean for you to feel more comfortable with the situation at Rovers?

the board needs to have some authority to get things done, and we should have some kind of administrative director who deals with things and who can give fans, journalists, everyone some answers.

Who do you think we should be talking to and getting the answers from?

anyone who can answer our questions and who can get things done.

What can the board of directors do to help you?

The board can grow some balls, and demand to take part in decision makings etc, or they should pick up their hat and walk out the door to show venkys that they will not be treated as puppets.

A.) Just how far do we need to sink before Kean is questioned?

B.) Stop coming out with complete crap about the club being your baby and at least do something shows you might actually care about the club.

and finally (and most importantly)

C.) STOP TREATING THE FANS LIKE WAR CRIMINALS DURING MATCHDAYS - the heavy handed attitude of the outside security is only making things worse and driving a deeper wedge between the club and the fans!

Am I correct in interpreting this thread as being to decide what the protests of the last 2 months are trying to achieve??? The longer the list of demands, the more minuscule the chance of achieving anything.

Keep it simple: last 12 months results have been unacceptable and would have seen us relegated in a full season. Therefore Kean Out

Things on my wish list

1 Removal of Jerome Anderson.

2 BEG John Williams to come back. (or a least install a decent chairman and let him run the club properly)

3 Publish the accounts.

4 Get a decent manager.

5 Stop telling us we will be playing in europe in a few years etc.

6 Fulfill your promises made when you took over the club, ie investment.

Just curious to the purpose.of this thread. Have the club asked for supporters comments or idea about solutions. Or is this just a debate on here. Or is somebody going to present these ideas to the club.

We have already been told that there are no plans to get a chairman in.

Heard, Kean is staying. Although.I have yet to hear an official statement of support for him from the club. Especially after recent board meetings. Something they normally do when speculation about Kean getting sacked, hits the media.

So two areas of concern supporters have. Yet neither going to be addressed.

Back after 2 months in Anatolia Turkey (apart from the Wigan Away match)

This thread is brilliant: apart from Brad, who cannot even spell "off' on an expletive, its just kept simple and straightforward -about 5 of the posts are pure magic.

Without the fans any football club is NOTHING. The disastrous last year may result in us losing at least 25% of the fans in a period as desperate as post the 1960 Cup Final 'ticket' debacle. Even BRFCS has resulted in an anarchic, resistance movement...making internet heroes out of supporters trying to replicate the social media influence of the 'Arab Spring', without the same stimulus or catalyst.

I cannot believe how my trust in things being done differently has been let down so badly by owners I thought were naiive and now I just worry about.

Fundamentally it all comes down to 2 issues:

- Which Manager has EVER survived with such a poor record and abject performances?

- How do you run an English Premier league side in the 'best' League in the world without a CEO or a Chair of the Board? (We talk to a Deputy CEO but no plans to appoint a CEO!! What Business Model or Business Book does that come out of)

And lastly WHY do Venky's not see this as a farcical situation?

I am beaten but will always buy my Season Ticket.
