Dont want to see Formica leave. He is arguably our best player on current form.

Zonz, Petrovic, Formica. Could be our midfield 3 for a few years. IF we keep hold of players for a change.

How much are they offering?

Loan deal. Would make sense. Free up his wages, bring in a defensive midfielder in on loan, and get back formica at end of season. He's not suited to a relegation battle but will be a good player.

Chaddy - it doesn't take a genius to work out that Rovers seem to be financially compromised. There is lots of noise and you know what they say, no smoke without fire.

Even speculation, in some quarters, that Rovers will struggle to meet Feb's payroll.

I think that things are bad, it just seems a question of how bad ?

I am full of admiration for Twitter users. Maybe i'm getting old, but i can't work it out. I signed up to get the inside track on Rovers but so far i only follow Nicko, Kammy, Makey, my own brother and his mrs. Whenever i log on i can only read what those people have said. As such, i'm left guessing at the other half of the conversation. All this retweet and hashtag business is too much for my delicate brain. It is a world i'd like to test out, but everytime i try i fail. Keep these twitter rumours coming. I know 99% are lies, but it passes a few minutes.

Patrick, try using the search facility and stick in "#rovers" in the search field.

You tend to get both sides.

Also, if you click on a person's tweet, you should be able to see the "conversation" they were tweeting in. I'm no expert by the way, smartphones make twitter a lot easier though!

It would be pretty grim if they don't have £2m knocking about for transfer funds. It's not even for January transfers!

Wonder if this is what Philipl meant by pointers tomorrow regarding the tightening of the financial screws?

It depends what they do with his wages/transfer fee if he goes. I havent seen enough to suggest that he'd be a massive loss if he went and we do have plenty of cover in that area, Dunn/Rochina/Hoilett/Vukcevic. If we can bring in a defensive midfielder or a proven full back then I think it'd be a decent switch as those areas need strengthening badly.

Hasn't this guy been the only one to feature in every game this season?

I sense he'll be going for non-footballing reasons.

Maybe hes still under a third party that set up in another disguise just to fool the premier league and now that party is moving him on.

Well if we are going to ask which of our saleable players are expendable assets certainly one of Dunn/Rochina/Vukcevic/Formica qualify. Four players for one position. We can shoehorn them onto the wing but they aren’t really wingers. On the face of it losing any of them seems a bad idea – Dunn is in great form, Rochina is exceptionally gifted, Formica is solid with a knack for scoring goals, Vukcevic has only just arrived at the club and is an excellent player if his international appearances are anything to go by.

One of them should go. I would argue losing Formica would not be so bad if we brought good players we did need (defensive midfielders, strikers, fullbacks, right winger).

I'd rather sell Rochina because he's such a liability defensively. Formica is a team player who works for the team and knows when to pass or dribble. Rochina has a lot of ability but seems to play for himself and is far too risky defensively, espicially as a winger.
