john-rover Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I could not find anything else about this, delete if im wrong. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/9406033.Garry_Flitcroft_appeals_to_Blackburn_Rovers_fans_to_back_Chorley_this_weekend/ I think as many people who could get to Chorley on Saturday should try, no rovers game, and would be good to sing Flitcroft and Jansen's names again. £5 for rovers season ticket holders!!

Mike Graham Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I am going, and paying the full rate....come on Chorley!!!
Charlie Magpie Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks for this post, John-rover. Garry Flitcroft and the rest of the Chorley FC team would greatly appreciate a good turnout of Rovers fans next Saturday at Chorley's Victory Park for our home game against Nantwich Town. As you probably already know, the club is experiencing a difficult time financially at the moment, and a 1,000+ attendance on Saturdaywill be a great start to our financial recovery. Show a current Rovers season ticket at the turnstile and you will get in for a fiver! Normal admission prices are £9.00 adults, and £5.00 concessions. Social club open all afternoon, plenty of lively banter with fellow BRFC and CFC supporters!
Ben-2000 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Done my bit this season for the Non-league (Luton and Barrow games) so I'll give it a miss, but Good Luck.

Mike Graham Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Been half a dozen times this season but never used that option. Kinda defeats the object of trying to help out the club Are you going on Saturday Paul?
AggyBlue Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Are you going on Saturday Paul? Doubtful Mike, I'm just over the worst of a bout of flu.
Charlie Magpie Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I hope you will consider coming along to Chorley's Victory Park this afternoon for our home match against Nantwich Town. A few hundred Rovers supporters will make a massive difference to our attendance and club finances. Only £5.00 for Rovers season ticket holders. If you are bringing children along, it may be worth considering signing them up to the Junior Magpies Club which costs £10.00 and they will be admitted free of charge to all our remaining leagues games this season. Thank you for any support you are able to offer to local non-league football.
koi Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Given them plenty of money thanks. In future they should keep a closer eye on their accounts and not let someone rip them off.
koi Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Think I will have a walk on today. Good for you. By the way, you've given me a neg but I've put plenty into the club. Idiot.
Charlie Magpie Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 'Thank you' to all the Rovers supporters who came along to Chorley's Victory Park today!!!!!! We estimate about 100 Rovers season ticket holders took advantage of the £5.00 admission offer, together with other adult and junior supporters. The additional income will make a significant diffrence to Chorley FC's finances. We hope you enjoyed the game and the experience of non-league football. Chorley won a very entertaining game, 1-0. The attendance was a very pleasing 766. If you are not travelling to Liverpool on Boxing Day, 26th December, you would be more than welcome at Victory Park for Chorey's game against Kendal Town. Good Luck at Sunderland tomorrow!!
