Backroom DE. Posted December 11, 2011 Backroom Posted December 11, 2011 What a save from Robbo... surely a matter of time until they score? It's like a park game of attack vs defence.
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2011 Backroom Posted December 11, 2011 Disgrace how he hasn't given robbo a free kick if our goal was disallowed
BRFC1995 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 If i'd never seen Hanley play before and just saw a photo of him..........i'd immediately know he's a liability just looks a lump
Hekla Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 You know it's worrying when Hanley comes on please hold on.
S60tti_BRFC Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Only 319 Rovers fans there. Fair play to them, I couldn't think of anything worse than giving my money to Venky's in these tragic times.
Josh Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 it seems everytime we block a shot it's destined to find the net. Norwich away, Stoke away, nearly there
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2011 Backroom Posted December 11, 2011 Why are we so defensive it never works for us
Lurid Coat Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 This is pure torture. Sunderland must have had at least a 100 shots on goal just this half. Every attack is dangerous, and they are attacking ALL THE TIME. Why are we so defensive it never works for us This time I don't think it is out of choice!
jim mk2 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Only 319 Rovers fans there. Fair play to them, I couldn't think of anything worse than giving my money to Venky's in these tragic times. Nearly 1,000 fewer than in Cardiff .... I wonder why ?
martmitch Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Lots of last ditch holding on to go folks, just wish we wouldn't pass it straight back to them every time
Backroom DE. Posted December 11, 2011 Backroom Posted December 11, 2011 Our players just don't have the energy to attack at all. Is this a fitness level issue?
roversfan1 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Does the Yak think he came off at half time?! He hasn't done a thing this half except give the ball away!!
Miker Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Seem to recall us two fullbacks this summer. The fact that they are so bad that we cant play them is up to the guy who bought them, aka Kean. Just because Kean is in such a dire need of wins to keep his job doesnt mean that I have to accept him gamlbing with players injuries which more often than not leads to worse injuries. What fullbacks? Ribeiro and Anderson? They both came on frees and obviously aren't good enough, just like the multitude of players we've had at the club over the years who have been brought in on frees. Anderson would have been signed for the reserves/youth squad anyway, and maybe Ribeiro isn't physically ready to play in the same way that Formica and Rochina weren't ready last season. We need players and fast. If we somehow manage to stay out of the relegation zone by January then we simply have to strengthen and fast. Players that are fit and experienced and can come in and do a job straight away. The difference in our team's ability when we have our best 11 out, compared with the scrap of a team that's playing now is immense.
emerton Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 4-1-4-1 formation isn't really helping him. Nobody to link up with
Josh Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 if you tuned into this not knowing what was going on you'd think we were down to 9 men
BiggusLaddus Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Even our best side is still extremely weak in two positions.
newfan Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 formica the defender formica the midfielder formica the striker
martmitch Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 May as well start mowing sunderlands half of the pitch it's not in use
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2011 Backroom Posted December 11, 2011 We do need to remember we have 11 men on the pitch but for some reason refuse to play like it
BRFC1995 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 how the (Please don't use that word again) are we getting so, so battered when its 11 v 11 still .........Wake up Kean u tosser
jones_rover Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Its a great battling effort but if we concede one, I think we could find it hard to transition back into attack and could easily see us losing!
