At half time Kean could hardly lose, he could blame the red and injuries then he sent the team out to play like we had ten men and cost us massively.

Shambolic and we all know he wont go

You can defend like that for 10 minutes, not 45. Even against a very poor premiership team, eventually you're going to concede. As soon as they got the first, the second was never far away.

If we had kept the score to 1-0 I would have given credit to Kean. But his tactics didn't work.

The right team won today.

I'm not a Blackburn fan but I thought I'd add my two pennys worth anyway...

If that performance is in any way indicative of Kean's tactical nous then the man's a pillock.

Unbelieveable tactics second half. You may have a good pair of centre backs but there's only so many chances you can give any premier league team before they put a couple away.

Sheesh - I don't think I've ever been so angry watching a game of football and I'm completely impartial!

I want Kean out as much as the next man, but with the injuries we couldn't really have much of a different formation than we ended up with. Dunn looked shot in midfield so Lowe was moved to cover him, unfortunately that meant Hanley (who was shocking) at rb.

Only saw the free kick as it happened, but thought it looked very harsh.

Think barring the injuries we could have seen the game out...can sort of understand the defensive minded tactics but my for the entirety of the 2nd half as anyone could see it wasn't goin to last. That being said was impressed with the defensive partnership of samba/dann, and the work rate of Formica/Simon.

Still, Sunderland were there for the taking and once again we failed to mount any semblance of pressure after we scored.

Surely the lack of fans and the overall inept performance will cause Venkys to rethink Kean's position?

we will scrape 30pts max under this joke/fraud/backstabber/weasel/drunk/scumbag

i dare this coward to a. face the media b. praise samba dann and robinson, but c. admit his fault and have the balls to actually critisise players publically and not praise people for being sh1t and extend their contracts as a reward for being sh1t.

Im sure Kean will point to the fact that it took a thunderbolt from Vaughan and an great free kick from Larsson to win the game. The point is that Sunderland had around 20 attempts on goal. Eventually one of them, Vaughan's, was going to go in.

I can sympathise that we had injuries but we replaced them with like for like changes. Considering how even the first half was, I just dont understand why we didn't at least attempt to threaten their goal at all in the second half. If there are 5-10 minutes to go, then fine, away from home, hold onto the win. But you cannot expect to play so defensively for 45 minutes and get away with it.

Their defence was shocking in the first half and Vukcevic/Yakubu/Formica were causing Bramble in particular all kinds of trouble. To completely give up any attacking threat against that shambles of a defence is pathetic.

The man has to be fired.

Kean cut a sad and lonely figure at the end..mind you 39,000+ singing 'Your're getting sacked in the morning' will have an effect even on Coco.

It was a poor game between 2 poor teams and we were actually the better team for most of the first half.

We went so defensive second half that there was an air of inevitability as to what would happen..and it did.

The BBC has possession at 50/50 - unbelievable.

Sunderland has 22 goal attempts to Rovers 3...............

Even with a decent manager in charge who can get his team well organised it's difficult to sit back and try and defend for 45 mins. With a ###### poor manager like Kean it's pretty much impossible.

Kean's PR excuse towards the owners will be the injuries, sure they didn't help but it was the overhaul in tactics in the second half that saw us lose. The Olsson injury might be down to Kean though, if he wasn't 100% fit he should have put Henley on instead of Olsson for Givet. Questions also have to be asked about Givet and whether he should have been playing with his heart condition?

I expected a defeat before the game so I am not that surprised or angry, it just reinforces my viewpoint that Rovers are going down.

Givet, Olsson, Salgado, Lowe all off let me just work out what the options were today. I am gutted but hero performances from Robbo, Samba, Formica. and Dunn.

Well, the clown chose not to put Dennis Irwin and/or Chris Smalling on the bench. They are his own signings as well.

Shocking second half performance and to be fair we were extremely lucky to even have a lead in the first place.

Samba was absolutely dominant, and I almost feel sorry for him having to play under the obnoxious clown. Also, Robbo showed what a great keeper he is with some world class saves.

Kean out!

What can you say really? Normal service is promptly resumed.

There was something sadly inevitable about this collapse. Our woeful away record, our inability to keep a clean sheet, our laughably negative tactics; all of it pointed to another loss. Sunderland may have left it late but they thoroughly deserved the victory.

Our goal was an anomaly given our lack of interest in playing football for the rest of the game yet for a while the game looked like being a real smash grab effort on our part. However, the home side was driven on by a newly appointed football manager (God do I envy them that) and benefited from the dead ball skills of a player we had the chance to sign in January. What was Formica thinking? The guy becomes more unremarkable every time I see him.

For all Kean's smug claims that we are playing good football these days, this was no different to the more grim performances under Allardyce. We allowed Sunderland to peg us back from the start and in contrast to the horrifying powder-puff rubbish served up at Stoke, we offered nothing more than a desperate, backs-to-the-wall defensive effort with a sprinkling of the crap passing and aimless punting that Sam drilled into the likes of Pedersen and Dunn. To give our previous manager his due however, there's no way we would have chucked away a point at the end under his stewardship.

We are dead certs for the drop as long as this loser remains in charge and time is fast running out.

depressing, dull, boring, clueless, shambolic, frustration, the Indian owners Era. There ripping this club to shreds, our rovers are done. Roll on pre season, and let the next dramas commence in the championship, with the battle on the field being lost we seem to be facing another battle off it, financial crisis rumours coming out this weekend and with our owners turning down a Qatari bid, its looking very likely the only mission the Venkys have is making blackburn non existent, because there giving a mighty good go,

fair enough, we were beaten by two wonder goals but its not about that, its about the whole second half performance which is the major worry, you cant sit back for 45 minutes and expect to come away with a clean sheet, we have a monster of a centreback in samba and without him we would be alot worse off but having the ball thrown into our area time after time will eventually catch up with you, injuries are no excuse as he started salgado on the right of midfield anyway and i beleive had salgado played the full game, he would have been ripped apart by richardson anyhow, to be honest what options did we have on the bench in an attacking sense anyway, roberts and goodwillie, two mediocre strikers at best. there were no excuses for this performance, it was poor, first half was pretty even, second half woeful. I hope mrs D finally wakes up and realises this clown is taking us nowhere but down but i wouldnt hold my breath. As for sunderland, they are a very average team and we made them look like a top 6 side, difference between two woeful sides (us and sunderland) is they have a manager who can get the best out of them whereas we dont!!

It's just so sad going through this cr*p most weeks.

That's my only feeling, overwhelming sadness.

Can't see us getting much change out of Bromwich. Bolton, well, they're in bits as well, but I have no idea what sort of shape we'll be in by that point. Injuries, suspensions, a de-moralised squad with an unpopular manager. I shan't even think about our last two games of the year.

So even if we beat WBA and Bolton, that will only be 16 points by the half-way stage. It's not enough, but then I think we'll only be taking a point from the next two games.

Just watched the game, what where we playing at !!!

I understand the injurys, but we just can't seem to hold the ball...... If no one is on for the pass.... Don't pass.

We just get the ball and give it back.

The squad is down to the bones and with at least 3 top end players leaving in our everything must go Jan sale we are doomed !!!

318 Rovers fans, a good turn out in the circumstances !

YAKUBU, a disgrace today:

1. He praised Coco;

2. He did nothing to close down play, and failed to break sweat all game, and;

3. He ducked to let the free kick for their winner through the gap where he should have been.

Kean out

Venkys out

Demonstrate all game, every game!
