I agree with the sentiments on here, but wake up and smell the coffee people. The Venkys aren't going to sack Kean - Mrs Desai loves him AND they don't have the cash to sack and replace him. We're down, just accept it and move on.

Protest, sure, but don't expect it to have any impact on how the club is run. They've torn the heart and soul out of BRFC and are simply going to asset strip us. They are, without doubt, the worst owners I've ever known and nobody is going to rescue us from them.

First Half:

We looked dangerous on the counter and from set pieces, got a good opening goal, should have had a penalty and had one wrongly ruled out,

At the other end I saw players throwing the bodies at everything and defending doggedly, Sunderland was allowed to get crosses in but Dann and Samba dealt with the lot as Sunderland lacked an attacking threat from the strikers,

Robbo pulled a world class save off from Richardson following a mistake by Lowe, but at half-time I said to wife that I thought we had put a good shift in, with everyone giving their all.

Second Half:

I just don't understand what Kean told them, as everyone just sat back and allowed Sunderland to have the ball, again players were putting their bodies on the line in and around our box and although we were enforced into making early changes I think Henley didnt do much wrong and can't see Kean being able to blame the ones who came on,

As the game went on it looked like we would hold on but those two goals in the last few minutes surely has to see Kean now out the door. He had no reason to change the way we played second half and he was intent on rovers not attacking.

I feel sorry for Robbo, Samba, Dann, Formica (Who worked really hard off the ball in defensive areas and Dunn, who got stuck in, as they really put a shift in today, and bar Yakubu second half who was isolated I saw a lot of effort from the players and I can't fault that.

However if we had sunderlands manager in our dugout today we would be celebrating 3 points. The blame lies solely with Kean, This block of games he expected to get points from has got us 4 from 12. We are still in the bottom 3, and now gaps are opening up above us. 2 home games to come and then we back in the position of playing the big guns.

This will go down as a defining moment in our season, If Kean is not sacked this week, Rovers go down, If we act now, we may still go down but if we appoint a manager and tactician we at least give ourselves a chance.

Good job we have this "block" of games wigan, stoke, swansea, sunderland = 4pts.................out and out blatent non footballing reasons for this classless clueless souless muppet being in charge.......What i would'nt give to be feeling the emotions all sunderland fans feel right now, positivity, optimism and knowing there is a fantastic structure at your club, actually makes me ill to think how good a team in 16th has got it compared to the slow motion train crash we are experiencing.

We deserved nothing from the game for them second half tactics, our "brilliant" manager according to Venkys got it wrong yet again.

No doubt injuries will be peddled out as the excuse, but to send the team out to play like that was criminal.Everyman and his dog could see what was going to happen.

IN 45 YEARS OF SUPPORTING BLACKBURN ROVERS I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN SO DESPONDENT ABOUT THE CLUB.

KEAN AND VENKYS ARE DESTROYING THE CLUB WE LOVE.

First time in a year Kean actually had us defending as a unit more or less from the front.

Samba, Robbo, Dann, Formica, Vukcevic, Henley were superb.

Problems- total non-reaction to a change in tactics and formations by Mo'N. Yes folks, Steve Kean did not anticipate a change of tactics from Mo'N- struth how stupid dumb can you get???

Fitness again a HUGE QUESTION MARK from Steve "I want to be popular with the lads so we don't train properly" Kean.

As for Yakubu ducking under the Larson free kick- more high fives with the useless idiot whose job you saved?

Im gonna take a guess at what Keano will say about the game

"We are a little bit dissapointed that we didnt get a point. I thought we defended excellent. We felt as though we were robbed a bit. Yak should have had a penalty and I feel that Scotty Danns goal should have been allowed. Samba did absolutely nothing wrong. We got some injuries which changed the game. Im hoping Nelly can play the next game. Im a ###### idiot."

close?

Any team who sat back and conceded so much possession for such a long period would struggle not to get scored against. The thing that baffled me was that we never even attemPted to counter when they were throwing the kitchen sink at us.

I've seen teams try (and usually fail) to defend a lead from 65 mins or so but christ not from half time. Truly astonishing

It is now critical we get the boost a new manager can bring uniting supporters cos by god our team needs all the help we can give them to get out of this mess.

On a side note maybe all our games should be played on a Sunday. Less of your weekend to ruin!

Well, those who after ONE WIN said "just get behind the team" have been swiftly corrected. Many Rovers fans need to maintain focus on this cretin being removed from our club and not be conned by a single win. Today was one of the worst performances i've seen from us... Kicking balls up the pitch with no intent to find the man, no attacking threat and Kean was employed for "A BETTER BRAND OF FOOTBALL"? Give me a break. Don't let the ignorant press and pundits distort your attitudes towards Kean, he fully deserves everything he gets... Completely out of his depth... Disgusting little man.

Just reading Nixon's twitter feed, he really is doing some sort of PR job for Kean.

Squad strength exposed here. Years of neglect. Not just last one. But showing some guts. Deserve a break

Where do we start picking apart guff like this? Blaming the previous owners, give me a break.

Kean needs to go immediately or we are down.

I don't understand Venkys. They allegedly have money. They allegedly have pride. They allegedly wanted a bog name manager (remember the Maradonna interest?) and marquee signings.

Instead they settle for Kean and relegation battles. We look like a reserve side.

Something is not adding up.

Remember, in the eyes of Ewood Spark, we are all "tremblers".

As Ewood Spark is a "groveler" I don't pay much attention to his opinions.

318 Rovers fans, a good turn out in the circumstances !

YAKUBU, a disgrace today:

1. He praised Coco;

2. He did nothing to close down play, and failed to break sweat all game, and;

3. He ducked to let the free kick for their winner through the gap where he should have been.

Kean out

Venkys out

Demonstrate all game, every game!

Bit harsh on Yakubu, yes he struggled today, but he was completely knackered, lack of premiership games is showing.

Nothing much else to say, setting up a side to defend for 70mins when we've not kept a clean sheet since he took over is suicide, and we got exactly what we deserved.

He'll keep his job, but to be honest I've given over caring, I don't go and won't go until they get rid of the ****

It's quite simple, Kean has brought in more players than Hughes, Ince or Allardyce ever did, the fact he has bought largely crap and can't organise the players in any case is down to him and him alone.

Well I agree with Philip, we did defend ever so well at the expense of our attacking threat!!

Kean cant get his tactics right at all, we defended far too deep in the second half and Robbo was shouting at his defence to get out and push up!!

Adam Henley did great and couldnt be faulted, OK the header went to Vaughn but who was picking Vaughan up!!

Nicko needs to stop with his Kean and Coyle love in. Kean is absolute s**** yet he defends him to the hilt.

Nicko loves to cover for Kean, going on about the poor shape of the squad. He completely ignores that Allardyce got decent results from the squad, without all the new signings Kean was allowed to bring in.

The fall in performance is down entirely to the change in manager. And the fall of the Rovers is entirely the fault of Venkys who are completely ineffective as owners.

And that in a nutshell is precisely our issue. all those who obsess about Kean are missing a fundamental point. What would you do in Keans position. Do the honoourable thing. I don't think so. History will show that he was only a part of the problem.Kidd and Ince were clueless with a solid club foundation. I doubt if Sir Alex could work under these circumstances Which goes back to the perennial, KEAN OUT who in, that could work with the SEM Venkys nonsense fest. And in spite of today's result don't forget three injuries so not much room to screw up strategy and some heroic performances.

The only chant we should be hearing and the T Shirt we should be wearing is VENKYS PLEASE SELL.. They may respond to politeness. Nothing else has worked, even for Barclays.
