I guess it doesn't need spelling out that if we lose tomorrow we really are shafted. With Sunderland dropping into the drop zone, I'd expect them to be well revved up. And there's absolutely no chance Kean will outwit O'Neill.

So, it will all come down to whether or not Yakubu can slot a few in.

Going to be a really bacon-slicer afternoon.

Does anyone know how many tickets we've sold for tomorrow. With it being on Sky and judging by how many we took to Stoke (also on Sky), wouldn't anticipate more than 250 making the trip.

As things stand, our next 3 fixtures are against teams in the bottom six. Anything less than 6 points and we are stuffed.

I'm not sold that Sunderland can take this game, I do believe the Rovers have played some good games this year, vs. Chelsea. Sunderland may have the will and desire, this is like a playoff game, with all of those teams winning, the 2 bottom clubs will definitely suffer.

Wigan I believe needed this game big time.

Next games:

Chelsea (H)

Liverpool (H)

Man Utd. (May not get anything from these 3)(A)

Then, a bit easier:

Stoke

Sunderland

Bottom of table now starting to look a little scary.. Norwich a whole 9 points above us :(

14 Fulham 15 -2 15

15 West Brom 15 -9 15

16 Wolves 15 -12 14

17 Wigan 15 -15 12

18 Sunderland 14 -1 11

19 Blackburn 14 -11 10

20 Bolton 15 -16 9

More than a 1/3 of the season gone so not looking promising... still at least Bolton lost so we are not bottom :)

I have said since the Wolverhampton opening game , if kean remains the manager we will get relegated... We are a poor team who every now and then put a performance in , which usually ends in defeat .He has been manager for nearly 12 months , which is in itself an indictment of the current owners of BRFC>>>

Got to say after reading various members posts on Sunderland, this IS a winnable game for Rovers.

Can we do it though.

You are right , a winnable game , in some ways a little unfortunate to be MON first home opponents . I suspect one managers knowledge of the game to be far superior to the others ..

I hope we win , but I cannae see it !

O'Neil wants Sunderland to play like Barcelona.

Sunderland to be like Barcelona

It seems like Kean's delusion is contagious.

We will know who Barcelona A and B teams are after the final whistle tomorrow.

TBH if either side can string more than 3 passes together tomorrow it will be a plus and I expect quite a bit of good old hoofball to be on show in a scrappy game.

We're in a situation now where these games are games we really have to win. A draw in seasons past would have been a perfectly acceptable result, but not now. We're too far gone to 'take a point' and be satisfied with a draw.

Totally understand what you are saying but in terms of tomorrows match I just feel it is important that we don't let the team above us pull away - so I'd be content with a draw. We do need wins though!
