Would anyone like him at Rovers?

He has had a massive bust up with Pulis, he is supposed to have stormed off home after being dropped for the Spurs game.

I'd prefer to see him on the right wing than Salgado. He would cost £3m.

The limited money we have will not be spent in this area I know.

More poignant given Stokes interest in Hoilett, would anyone consider a straight swap in January? Clearly Hoilett is a better player, but given the contractual issues would a ready made replacement with PL experience be of any use?

Pennant is a half decent winger, but i'd still probably say no.

I'd hate to see Hoilett at Stoke it would just add to the embarrassment of how crap we've become if players would rather go there. As for Pennant he's seemed to do alright when I've seen him for Stoke, would be a fair replacement for Hoilett just not in a swap deal.

I'd happily bring in pennant as a replacement for Junior, as said above, not a straight swap. Even with Junoir having only 6 months left on his deal, he is worth more than pennant.
