Rumours that Wigan's Mohamed Diame could be available for £2m, as his contract expires next summer. Wolves & Stoke are said to be interested. Surely we should be all over that?

if we could actually get him to join us, then would be a decent deal. Problem is, can't see him wanting to jump ship at wigan and join us when we are probably more likely to be relegated than wigan at this moment.

Kean will probably not bother and try and buy another player to play in 'the hole' as we don't have enough of those already....

Agreed. If the fee is as reported £2mil and if he would come we would be nuts not to do this.

Raised this last week on the transfer thread.

Controlled midfield when we played Wigan, strong quick central defensive midfielder.

Just not sure Wigan would sell to us given the relative league positions, and also given league positions would he come if he wants to progress?
