Exiled_Rover Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Peds...Hanley....Samba.....Lowe. I dont see a win, we can't keep clean sheets and with that back four its no surprise. I'd rather see Henley at LB.

jrabrfc Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 No matter how bad Bolton are I just can't see us keeping a clean sheet - we seem incapable of being able to manage it against any opposition. This is a proper car crash of a game. You don't want to watch but you just have to have a peek. It's not going to be pretty, the atmosphere is going to be horrible once again and I have massive doubts that Kean can engineer a team to win tonight. I'll go for a 3-3 draw. No good for either side.
ABBEY Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I think we are going to win tonight 3-0. Where does that leave us? Playing FIFA 12 2 -6 or a minus 1 draw. Had ###### off mates at work .all rovers fans btw, for going tonight!
47er Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I would go with that as well Kamy. Give Petrovic the start with N'Zonzi, and stick Rochina up front with the Yak where he should be. Hanley actually has been a little better this season than last, when he looked like a lost puppy out there. We will win tonight, probably by a decent margin. Kean should still be fired this week, for the West Brom game which was the worst Rovers performance I've seen in years and years What do you expect Petrovic to do?
Ralfinho Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I've just heard Robbie Savage's comments...............LEGEND!!!!! Anyway Im going for a 4-4 draw tonight
Fraserkirky Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 What do you expect Petrovic to do? Play football
Sparky Marky Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Cos he's been given a chance hasn't he......?
SharrockDownSouth Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Two Red Cards, a dodgy penalty, a very cold streaker and a 3-3, no-use-to-anyone, outcome
eire3382 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Never has so much apparently been riding on one match. It would seem lose and the manager goes but we are probably doomed. Win and we are stuck with the fool for a little longer which means we are doomed. To be honest what truely scares me is I think win or lose Kean is here for good and, words fail me. I hate him (and Venkys) for making me feel as I do about Rovers. Only a year ago, we had an experienced manager (but some IDIOTS were not happy with him) and a well run club. I was excited before every single match. Now we have the bald idiot who treats the fans like scum. If anyone from Venkys is looking at this board, it is possible for you to turn everything around. Some very simple steps. 1. Sack keans for gods sack. 2. Bring in a chairman and CEO to run the club. They can advise you but allow them to make the big decisions. 3. No more silly claims (Beckham etc until the deal is completed then shout it from the roof tops) 4. Be realistic (we are not the biggest club and you don't appear to be willing to put hundreds of millions into the club so lets be happy with mid table and the odd cup run for now) These steps will turn the feeling of the club around. It may be too late for this season. But we have players in the squad that should be able to get us out of the championship if they are managed by an experience manager. Look at Newcastle, where they were and where they are now. But step one must be carried out soon very soon as any new manager needs time to acess the current team and make changes.
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Game on live here such is the global interest in who gets to have 19th place. Get Souey back by tomorrow night (and I was one who thought he had reached his sell-by date when we swapped Cole for Dickov) and I reckon we'll scrape by

Whilst I agree with everything you have put, this is the millionth time I have read those words from various posters. we all know what is needed but we cannot do anything about it. It is a sorry state of affairs with Blackburn Rovers. We are the laughing stock of the footballing world. My grandma could run a subbueteo footy team better than these muppets

How much longer will we have to suffer...................................................
Hasta Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I think we are down regardless of who comes in. However deep down we all hope someone can pull of a miracle escape. To even give them the opportunity to have a shot at that we need 3 points here. Absolute must. I hope Bolton try and come out and attack our back four because it's going to be so weak. That way it gives us a chance of outscoring them. If they sit back, soak up our powerderpuff attack as seen on Saturday they will probably nick one off a corner or set piece somewhere. I've got a feeling we are in for drama tonight one way or another.
John Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 The one thing which gives me hope for tonight is that Bolton have been worse than us recently - battle of the SEM managers, no doubt Jerome will be looking on with pride.
Ralfinho Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 For me, tonight Rochina is the key man. Give him a free role just of whoever is up front and he will win us the game. He is wasted on the wings and if Kean (you clown) is on here now looking for tactics or what team to pick then use Rochina in the hole and tell him to do what ever he likes and he will bag us at least 2 goals tonight The one thing which gives me hope for tonight is that Bolton have been worse than us recently - battle of the SEM managers, no doubt Jerome will be looking on with pride. Jerome will be Skiing with Kean & Coyle later tonight and I dont mean the skiing with ski's etc. Kean and Coyle are his poles!!!!
A cup of beans Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Tense! Nervous! Feel Sick! and its only 12pm! Jerome will be Skiing with Kean & Coyle later tonight and I dont mean the skiing with ski's etc.
3rdpillar Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Being NEGATIVE but! I go tonight to give Venkys and Kean full voice of disgust. This will effect the team and we will fail to beat notloB

How long does it have to take before someone in Authority realizes that there is something deeply rotten going on at our club. Sadly always after the fact when irreperable damage is done to a club and the slaughterhouse stench of dubious deals and shady relationships is partially covered up to hide their tracks. We are in a no win situation tonight. if we win, we prolong the agony, if we don't we are up s%#} creek without a paddle and with the January sales the last nail in our coffin will be placed as the asset strippers go to work to pay for the Barclays last warning. No manager in their right mind would risk their reputation dealing with these absentee landlords. Sorry one. Avem relegated Grant. The great experiment has failed. our club is in tatters and Venkys reputation is not chicken stock it is laughing stock. You have one last chance to redeem your reputation in your home country and our country before like your chickens and our club it is finally slaughtered. Venkys please sell. #venkyspleasesell

And Im sure if Bolton go 1 in front they will no doucbt be helping us out as did the Sunderland fans

The Rover of Finland Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Please guys, make Kean cry with your chants!
winstonsmith Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 It all began for Steve with a 1-1 draw against West Ham. He had started as he meant to go on by dropping two points at home to the bottom placed team. Now just over a year later, we are faced with the Great Wooden Spoon Race for the coveted bottom at Christmas spot which historically means almost certain relegation. This is a fascinating struggle between two of Jerome Anderson's finest. Both are SEM clients. Both have been recognised by Nicko as managerial gems. Who to pick? Prediction: 3-3 As it is a must-win game for both sides then inevitably it will be a draw. Not a no-score draw as that would need a clean sheet and I've bet on the game having more than 4 goals. Kean to finish as he started by dropping points at home to the bottom team.
joey_big_nose Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Christ, we look shocking at the back. -------------------Robinson Henley-----Samba----Hanley----Pedersen Formica----Nzonzi----Lowe-----Vukcevic ---------------------Rochina ----------------------Yakubu Should be just about enough in there for us to have a chance at winning the game....
