Chorley F.C Are in danger, through no fault of their own of going into administration. An idea was mooted on Monday to see if Rovers supporters were willing to get involved in this as football supporters. Since then things have progressed and we now have a group set up to raise funds to help save the club. We are hoping for a large number of Blackburn Rovers supporters to attend a match in the new year and are also donating via paypal. We have full approval of the board of directors at Chorley FC and we hope many of you can help this cause.

Hi Mark. Can I just firstly htank you for your efforts. Is it possible to pin this Pay pal address at the top of thr page. Also is it possible for 1 of your IT guys to introduce a meter which shows the funds rising. This has been shown to increase donations.

Looking forward to going to VP and seeing loads of Rovers fans there for what will be a unique event.

Thanks again

  • 3 weeks later...

Just to remind everyone about the Chorley match this Saturday to help raise this 20k they need,

Coaches are being put on from Ewood Park at 13.30, at £3 per person, whilst the pay pal account is being run by Mark1875 to try and raise funds for those who wish to contribute but cannot attend,

The response has been good for this match and we are hoping quite a few hundred will attend,
