folkdevil Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 He's laughing and joking!!!!! Unbelievable isn't it? Here's the live link http://www.bbc.co.uk/5live/webcam/videocam/
G Somerset Rover Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Roberts is as big a fool as they come. What happened to all of those grand Venky's plans you were singing about a couple of months ago Jas? Absolute muppet. Surpsised he's on Twitter so much; didn't think he'd be able to get much signal up Steve Kean's arse.
DeadlyDirk Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Joker, you'd think we'd have won 10-0 today, not even bothered.
hesfromburn Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 wathching it is like sticking the knife in after the pain of another loss. wish someoone who is ballsy and elequent would ring up and set em all straight
Mike Graham Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Jason Roberts is such a first class money grabbing ######. Next time I see him in Chorley I will tell him to his face.....again!
Tooogs Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 im on hold to go on, listen up... hopefully ill get a chance to speak. gonna be sticking up for the fans
hesfromburn Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Im listening toogs good luck! Make him squirm with cold hard truths
Backroom DE. Posted December 17, 2011 Backroom Posted December 17, 2011 Didn't someone call 606 a few weeks ago, tell it like it is then get cut off mid-rant? Can't see them letting anyone on there to talk sense.
Mattyblue Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Tried to get a Sam dig in there, slapped down by the West Ham fan. The irony of Jason Roberts trying to take the 'good football' moral high ground,
hesfromburn Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I heard that! haha Sam prevailed through it all! Good lad. "b-b-b-b ut what about the style football".....yeeaahh.. shhhhhh jason.
Amo Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 They're more interested in ###### about Balotelli.
Tooogs Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 i called up and then they said if i was goin on they would call back, they called back and i was just waiting... gutted, Roberts was saved by the bell then...
Mike Graham Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Thanks for trying Dan. I blame Jason and his lover Mrs D.
Amo Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 i called up and then they said if i was goin on they would call back, they called back and i was just waiting... gutted, Roberts was saved by the bell then... It was obvious they were running down the clock to avoid your call.
Backroom DE. Posted December 17, 2011 Backroom Posted December 17, 2011 It was obvious they were running down the clock to avoid your call. They spent about 10 minutes talking about Balotelli's parking fines, then another minute or so asking "anyone else to talk about Balotelli? Anyone? Come on... anyone?" Jokers.
AllRoverAsia Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 The Tweet or Text from I.M. McHunt (might have been Ian McHunt) about Sir Alex - the presenter just read out the senders name then realised what he'd said - classic stuff.
RoverRich Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Did I hear correctly when I was listening earlier - Roberts basically ridiculed an Everton fan because he wanted Moyes replaced by someone like Brendan Rogers or Eddie Howe. Roberts replied by saying something to the effect of 'So you want to sack an experienced Premier League manager for one who has very little if no Premier League managerial experience?' I couldn't believe it and I hope I heard wrong, otherwise makes Roberts look like an absolute joke! He does talk a lot of rubbish on that show...

I would absolutely love to confront Roberts on that show. If he tried to defend Kean it would be as simple as "well Jason, it's either his fault or the players fault. Who is it? You don't get to 19th by accident. You don't have a win percentage of below 20% over twelve months by accident. You don't go on the worst run in decades because of bad luck. Either he's not performing or you as players aren't performing, which is it?" Would be very interested to see whether he rejected blame entirely, tried to spread it around, or admitted that either the players or the managers weren't up to it. They'd probably just cut me off, though.

Spot on RR that fool Roberts talks such boring rubbish on 606, he contradicts himself all the time. He never answered the Rovers fan who asked if 'Kean was upto the job if all the players were behind him and yet we still keep losing?'

I think it was also the same call where I was even more gobsmacked when he referred to Charlton and how they were going along steadily till they thought they'd step up by getting rid of Curbishley and he pointed out what has happened since. Perhaps you should have told your mate Balaji that tale about a year ago. Engage brain before opening mouth Jase.

What's his excuse then?
