I notice that Rovers have stopped sending Christmas cards to their Junior Rovers fans.

Instead preferring to send me spam emails every day with rubbish discount offers. I don't even like spam.

Yet more class shown by the new regime.

Merry Christmas Jim Royle style :xmas:

I agree. That Deal of the Day spam got right on my nerves. It wouldn't let me unsubscribe at first but I have managed to do it now. Spamming fans every day just shows a lack of class. Kean said himself he respects people like Fergie more than Rovers fans so why doesn't he spam old purple nose every day with special offer Rovers socks.

We just arrived back from India after 2 amazing gigs for India and Bayern Munich Football teams. Performed at a stunning club for the press launch and at the Stadium before the match. Such an amazing feeling playing to 50,000 people!!

From Siren's Facebook page... Shows how pathetic Venky's are at marketing for all their Acron bull.

Aint buying another thing until Kean gets the sack or Venkys leave whichever happens first

Of course, the counter argument is to stock up now on anything that has "Rovers" and "Premier League" emblazoned on it. Might be collectors items in a few years...

I won't be, mind you, but just putting it out there

I had a letter and a phone call from the ticket office on Tuesday asking if I was interesting on buying a half season ticket, they will deduct the cost of the ticket I bought for the Stoke game. The phone call was 30 mins after Anderson was on SSN, I told the girl that I would have been interested but after hearing what that cretin on SSN had said I was no longer going to buy anything from the club until some change was made.

How desperate are the club? I've never received a phone call before. Did anyone else?

I'd fear for her welfare if she's reliant on commission. Is anyone aware of office staff being laid off yet? Only a matter of time.

I feel sorry for Rovers employees. They have been given instructions not to talk to any supporter on the events at Ewood Park and they must not say anything critical of the owners nor management (not the best word given Rovers do not have any "management") or they will face disciplinary action for gross misconduct. Maybe this gagging is worthy of a thread of it's own?

I think that they are ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE for CASH.

The folly of this is that even if this ploy was successful (and chances are very, very slim) - let's say they sold 500 extra half season tickets, it would raise little more than £50k which would probably be insufficent to cover 1 week's wage for Chris Samba !

You can see why we really are in trouble.

I can't think we've sold anywhere near 500 half season tickets. And if we have you have to question the sanity of people who've bought them!!

I've not had a call about half season tickets, even though we should be the target for one. But I'm not bothered.

I've had loads of leaflets this Christmas - Wigan, PNE, Blackpool (dunno why I got this one), Huddersfield and Torquay! The Torquay one is pretty tempting to be honest!

They've also got their twitter and facebooks under scrutiny and are scared to speak out!

I've received the letter and the phone call.

I have responded directly to a senior indvidual at the Club explaining why I will not be purchasing a half season ticket or any further tickets this season for games at Ewood.

I will continue to go the away games which I can justify to the wife but I can not justify to myself, let alone my good lady, spending any more money at Ewood Park under this lot.

I nearly convinced myself to buy one at the Stoke game as they are ridculously good value but came to my scences just in time to purchase just the Stoke ticket. The latest offer is brilliant, credit where it is due to the Simon Williams led department for being able to still get offeres like this out to fans, but I can just not bring myself to contirbute money to the Venky's exit fund.

Sad, sad times.

As I was positing the above I actually received a response from the indvidual at the club, fair play.

What did it say?

The individual who I sent it to responded personally so I would rather not broadcast their comments for fear of dropping them in it. They did however confirm that my comments would be passed on to the relevant people as per the requirements of the charter, which I am assuming is a premier league requirement.
