I feel sorry for Rovers employees. They have been given instructions not to talk to any supporter on the events at Ewood Park and they must not say anything critical of the owners nor management (not the best word given Rovers do not have any "management") or they will face disciplinary action for gross misconduct. Maybe this gagging is worthy of a thread of it's own?

They've also got their twitter and facebooks under scrutiny and are scared to speak out!

What the hell is going on. These stories if true are totally ridiculous. We are living in the 21st century in a free country.

First of all we have the constant PR campaign the club mounts against the supporters and now we have these stories of the club trying to control their employees.

What is wrong with this club that these measures, which you more closely link to a facist or communist dictatorship, are being used. Just what do they have to hide.

When will the football world wake up and smell the coffee.

As you are all aware the club do monitior this site and I've been informed that whilst the sales of half season tickets have not hit 500 they are selling better than the club expected, and much better than is being suggested on here.

Some of you will choose to shoot this down as being untrue, I'm not after brownie points just passing on something I'm aware of.

I'm inclined to believe the person who I was speaking with who works in the shop as he told me in an unofficial way. The club aren't going to admit to a low amount being sold.

Told the lady that I would not be buying anymore to tickets or merchandise. Which is a shame because my 5 month old son has no rovers gear at all. I'd spend a fortune on him....

This was my attempt at stopping the emails from marketing. Finally seems to have worked as they've now stopped.

Yep that would be about my guess too - been going for over 30 years and a ST holder for the last 11 years but not renewing next year unless coco and flunky's gone by then.

Its the only thing we've got left to record our displeasure

I half jokingly said a few months ago that 'most of the ST holders will leave before Kean does'. It's gonna happen!

Once ST holders stop going, it is damn hard to get them back in the habit.

of course, Venky's don't care, but for those that will be there after they feck off, I dread to think what shell of a club will be left.

The Christmas card gubbins really annoyed me.

I remember getting one when I was growing up and while obviously photocopied signatures I still felt it was special. The day Rovers sent me a birthday card with Shearers signature in I was over the moon.

Now my lad is nearly 5 I have been making a big deal every year that the Blackburn players have been sending him a Christmas card - his little face lit up the past couple of years - not any more they have decided to stop.

Pathetic way to keep the young ones interested if you ask me

Its ironic really, started going in 79 under Howard Kendall in the old Third Division when crowds were about 7K - currently looks like by the time I'll be coming back to Ewood when relegation(s) and possibly administration have seen the back of coco and flunky's, things will have gone full circle and will be back to where it all started for me.

One comforting thought though is that we got promoted the first time of asking in 79-80, although it then took 12 years to finally get back to the top flight.

But premier league with coco and flunkys or league one and getting OUR Rovers back? No contest for me - getting our rovers back everytime.

Completely agree Cocker. Very, very poor cost cutting measure from the club.

I remember what it felt like when we finally got the club shop back from SoccerSports or whoever ran the clothing shop next to Ewood Park.

I expect it'll be a similar, yet magnified, feeling when we get the club back.
