martonrover Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 What do they say! Revenge is a dish best served cold! Fergie is a good pal of Sam's It crossed my mind that Sir Alex's words of comfort are just part of the plan! The longer Kean stays the more screwed we are! The simpletons in India think we are getting support from the biggest name in the game! Kean gets longer! Sam and Alex get a good laugh - and we have to sit and watch it all happen!! Life for a Rovers fan is cruel! Buttering up the opposition is an old trick. Bob Paisley used to call it ' Giving a bit of toffee'. Fergie will be laughing his head off that Kean has bought it so easily.

dwayne cage Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Could be the last game in a Rovers shirt for a fair few players
Mattyblue Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Odds on 5 or more goals for Man Utd on Betfair is 6.0 Man Utd to win both halves is 2.0. Both tempting bets.... 33/1 to win on Betfair! Can't day I have EVER seen odds like that for us to win a game. Though I'd be happy to lay 133/1.
AllRoverAsia Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Ferguson will put out a Reserve side against us and win IMO 4-2 They have bigger games coming up v Newcastle in the PL and City in the Cup. We are cannon fodder.
SAS Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I think it's worth a bet on rovers, shop window time for the majority of our players.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I hope I'm not the only one to spot that Rovers have managed to turn the positive 'Henley signs new deal' story into yet more gripes about our injuries. Before a ball has been kicked at OT we must be forced to hear about poor Steve's lack of bodies and how it will be such an uphill clime. Everyone connected to the club, not just Mrs D, is buying the baldsh*tters words. Even the tiniest piece of positive news is churned into more 'prepare for the worst, but this is why' tripe from the fat man running our team. Where's Bruno, or Dennis, as you know him Steve? Has our Smalling got tonsillitis too? Expect a hiding today fella's, even Keano thinks we will get one.
Inta Beaver Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Carrick and Evra might be the 2 centre halfs! I'm sure Big Sam would have had a plan to get at them pair. Kean will be saying "get it wide that's the weakness"! Utd 4-0 Rovers 8/1!
imy9 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 We need to exploit the central defence, we have a chance to get a result today no question, I reckon 2-2.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 6-0 United. And the sad thing is I don't care and I won't until Kean and Venky's are gone.
Mercer Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I hope it's a record 10-0 for United just to stick it up Venky's & Kean. It's all too late now, our club is almost dead. I just hope that these, IMO, morons are embarrassed to hell and get their just desserts in time to come.
adsfortheblues Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Can't believe some people think we may actually get something from this games Christ almighty
HATRIX Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Dont bury yourself before the killing.Im an optomistic octopus and im very optomistic that we will lose, not by the amount some people are saying though.Thank you i have a cousin who is an optometrist.
Bluefudge Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Enjoy the day lads and lasses for these grounds will be consigned to our memories for many a year to come.
Beta Ray Bill Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 To illustrate how astonishing the 25/1 that most bookies are offering is... Bet365 are only giving odds of 16/1 for Oldham to win at Anfield next week, and Tamworth and Cheltenham @ 20/1 to win at Everton and Spurs respectively. I know strange things can happen in the FA Cup, but for bookies to see all 3 of those events to be considerably more likely than Rovers winning today is crazy. I don't think I've ever seen higher odds for a top flight match.

He's saying what we're all thinking. Well said sir.
ebenrocks Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 It's alright, I had a dream last night we won 1-0. Sit back, relax and enjoy the game.

You know my thoughts on this dude. 9-2 United. Oh and Josh has told me he aint supporting rovers till Kean's sacked and Venky's have gone. Quite a good stance from an 8 year old eh?
Majiball Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Must say the sky preview show is doing a very good job of showing everyone exactly why it's all gone too far.
Brad Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 For sure the end of an era.. Hopefully players do us proud as I'm sure they will.. COYB, Kean out venkys out... Like Now!!!

I don't think I've ever seen higher odds for a top flight match. Pretty sure that Derby County team under Paul Jewell had higher odds at some point. Saying we'd win once in twenty six attempts, that's probably being a bit kind on us really.
jimw1988 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Bunn: Lowe, Samba, Hanley, Henley; Nzonzi; Formica, Petrovic, Rochina, Pederson; Yakubu. De Gea; Rafael, Carrick, Jones, Evra; Nani, Valencia, Park, Welbeck; Berbatov, Hernandez. Utd subs Lindegaard, Anderson, Diouf, Pogba, W. Keane, Fryers, Cole. No rooney. Something I suppose!
BRFC1995 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Craig Burley is my new favourite pundit.........no bullsh1t excuses for a fellow scot straight out saying he's useless and his record is horrible what odds berba getting 5 again, Hanley and petrovic on the same pitch surely we can't carry more than one utter donkey at a time
sam_rovers Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Why no Riberio and Anderson if were short in defense
