can this thread introduce a vote......do you think we will sign anyone at all, as i'd certainly vote not a chance in hell are we signing anyone. This looks to be the worst transfer window in our history and least contributed to transfer thread ever. Some kind of vote at least maintains an interest.

I think we all need to wait until the end of January, that's the time to make a judgement (based on factual evidence ie sales of players etc) in terms of the way the club is heading. At the moment there is a lot going and of course much of it is causing a great deal of concern, but we will have a clearer idea come the end of January exactly which way we are heading in terms of Venky's and their financing of the club.

Kamy, i respect your opinions on here greatly. As one of the genuine ITK'ers your input is always appreciated. But i am afraid my patience with Venky's ran out months ago. They cannot be trusted, they haven't got the cash to sustain us and they are pushing us closer to oblivion with every passing day. They can p1ss right off as far as i'm concerned. There will not be a happy ending to this tale. That is the only thing i'm sure of.

I agree totally with what you are saying but in just a few short weeks we will know definitively exactly what they are going to do with the club in terms of it's future financing and direction.

Kamy, honestly mate, they haven't paid the £10m, they're looking to basically "re-mortgage" or get a loan to pay the Barclays loan if posts are to be believed. Kean should have gone months ago. We're bottom of the league.

The only place we're going is down and out. Unless something pretty bloody amazing happens, a miracle in fact. It would have to be the biggest turnaround in sporting history if they do and I don't just mean staying up.

They need to sell up and get gone. Or at the very least put the club up for sale. It would also be nice if they could speak to us. You know, the fans.

Anyway, I've just added to 19 pages of transfer gossip. We're normally up to page 250 by now. Nuff said.

Kamy, I think it's quite obvious now.

If they were serious, Kean would have had his four signings in now and a new assistant with Venky's funding.

Time for total openness and honesty now from the likes of you and Andy Cryer. The supporters are not fools and some might know a little bit more than you think.

may as well close this thread apart from any outgoings

Yep. Desperately in need of incoming talent to rebuild the side, and the only talk and specualtion is on who's leaving. This window SHOULD have been about Venkys investing some cash to keep us up, and who we were going to bring over. Instead, none of that.

Sell enough players, there may be no choice but to give Ribeiro and Myles a game...

As mentioned in Samba thread, I think you will find every Rovers' player now has a price. If we've been offered £6.5m for Yak then he's gone. As for replacements, I think anyone will do who doesn't cost any sort of fee.

Sad, sad times.

I can't imagine the rest of the season without the Yak. Imagine Yakubu, Samba, and Hoilett gone? If I was Manchester United I might be knocking on the door asking about Robinson for the second half of the season also.

Who on god dams earth is he FFS ?

Huszti is actually a good player, has a very good left foot, he's good at set pieces which would replace the need for a woeful pedersen to play,we could certainly do worse in this transfer window.zenith bought him to replace arshavin

Why?? No offence, but his shot stopping from distance is also poor.

In any other season it would be a great bit of business selling the yak for 6.5 million, but it would be like admitting defeat an certain relegation if it were to happen now

Agreed. £6.5m for Yak at his age (43) is very good, but we cannot lose his goals this season.
