JAL Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Just dont want any player regardlerss of calibre to come to the club whilst Stephen Kean is still here now. Its become that bad.

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Gibson is crap but the fact he is probably better than what we have says it all Dead right there Tom.
John Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Says Bolton to move for Junior now Cahill deal done - http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Chelsea-exclusive-Gary-Cahill-has-agreed-23m-contract-to-move-from-Bolton-after-17-days-agonising-article853444.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Stuart Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Cahill £80k per week! There's no chance for teams like Rovers, Wigan, and Bolton in this league anymore.
FFP83 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Cahill £80k per week! There's no chance for teams like Rovers, Wigan, and Bolton in this league anymore. There is, just need to be the 4th worst
Ricky Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 My money's on samba only being a tad behind him on the wages front.
Stuart Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 My money's on samba only being a tad behind him on the wages front. Maybe but we still can't afford it!
Hughesy Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 My money's on samba only being a tad behind him on the wages front. My money is on him being on more....just not all on our books
47er Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Modeste on loan says the Daily Mail------23 year old striker once described as "the new Tierry Henri"! Presumably he can join the new Chris Smalling and the new Dennis Irwin. Another one and they can have their own card school!
mjwood00 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 People on twitter saying AJ to sign over the weekend. Presumably, unless we sell, on the never never like Dann.
dwayne cage Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 The fact Everton are signing players and we are not when they are equally skint just says it all really. no onder Samba wants out. We've got as much optimism about us as a woman accused of bing a witch in the 1600's. Venky's Out......though it will never happen.
Aberdeen Blue Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 One of our supposed summer targets George John has signed for West Ham. I guess we will now get to see if we missed anything?
Damien Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 With it being a loan to buy option, do you think rovers could still put a bid in for george John if he turns out to be any good for west ham?
Stuart Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 One of our supposed summer targets George John has signed for West Ham. I guess we will now get to see if we missed anything? Possibly, but it's difficult to compare a Championship-level player with a Premier League one. Just look at Andrews.
joey_big_nose Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Still not linked to any midfield workhorses? We really really really really need one. Just one hardworking decent a/J Jones type will do much to sort this side out. I find it incredible we are not scouring the earth for one.
Mercer Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Told at ground today that loan bid for Newcastle's Guthrie has gone in.
Josh Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I'd have Guthrie, he's not the most talented midfielder but he likes to get stuck in and doesn't look too rushed when he has the ball
chaddyrovers Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I'd have Guthrie, he's not the most talented midfielder but he likes to get stuck in and doesn't look too rushed when he has the ball very decent player in my view. Would improve our midfield for sure.
roversfan99 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Told at ground today that loan bid for Newcastle's Guthrie has gone in. By who?
hesfromburn Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 guthrie wouldnt be my number one but we need the midfield building on. But with petrovic looking like he has more to give guthrie could be a good standard to add depth and experience to our midfield. I mean otherwise its andrews or er.. whats that guys name?? greela? groula??? vince goon?? VINCE VAUGHN?? We have been linked with guthrie for a while now and he hasnt been on the bench for newcaslte I dont think for the last 2 games so wouldnt be suprised

It would be an excellent signing
Mercer Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 By who? Irrelevant to you - source reliable and would know !
The Rover of Finland Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 According Nicko´s twitter there is a story about two Rovers´ targets tomorrow. Johnson seems not be one of them. Think Guthrie is other.
roversfan99 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Irrelevant to you - source reliable and would know ! No worries.
hesfromburn Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 In the Carling Cup match at home to Newcastle I thought that Guthrie was by far the best man on the pitch. It would be an excellent signing I remember that he actually he bossed the midfield, why doesnt he get more games?? I know they have cabaye and tiote but guthrie was their best player that day and he got a screamer.
