Get a grip!

You can't take being wrong can you?

OK. I'm wrong. But we both know i'm not. Can someone please tweet Martin Olsson and ask if he's ever worn a grey hoody/leather jacket combination whilst being stood next to his yellow shirt-wearing brother? Let's get this whole sorry mess cleared up and move on to who we aren't going to sign!

I'd suggest you look too!Forget the bump/mole. Look at the ears on the one in the Rovers shirt, which match the ears on the one in the hoody. and the nose is the same, much flatter than the one in the yellow shirt!! It's like CSI Blackburn. You'll thank me one day

 You sir, are a comedy genius!

Haha, but surely everyone loves a good heated game of guess the olsson?!

:lol::lol:

You truly are a wind up merchant. Congratulations :tu:

may as well close this thread down.

glen also seems to think by tommorow midnight we will be much weaker in terms of squad strength, thinks only loans and freebies coming in and some players going, he mentioned people will be pulling their hair out by midnight so that could mean some big names going!!!

I'd be genuinely amazed if we are MUCH WEAKER come midnight tomorrow. I just can't see any club stumping up the £12 odd million for Samba, or £8 million for Stoke and there seems no desire from Rovers to sell either. They are trying to shift Formica but no takers at the moment at the price Rovers want.

Looks like Andrews is off, so that'll mean a replacement midfielder coming in, I was hoping Caceras but I would have thought there isn't enough time to get that done with work permits etc. There are a few other names being floated about, but at the moment it is all pure speculation.

We'll have a definitive answer as to which direction the club is heading in just over 24 hours time, but I would be surprised if we are much weaker. The Bank won't force sales because they know Rovers staying in the PL is the best chance of debts etc being paid.

The part in bold is key. Many of us already have an idea about our direction, with the club looking like it may slip into the Championship. Come tomorrow evening our fate could either be sealed with a lack of investment and recruits, or we could put up a fight.

Ignoring everything else Kean has done in the past (and yes I know that's difficult) I feel sorry for him in this, I really do. He has no control over the finances - he can only work with what he has been given, which is seemingly nothing. Venky's need to get their sodding fingers out, this is the last throw of the dice.

I think the first 30 days of the window have already allowed us to draw conclusions.

Let's be honest, Modeste, maybe Sutter and Olsson set the tone and , IMO, do not improve our squad. I'd suggest that any of these three would even struggle to actually make an impact in a decent Championship team.

As things stand, can only see the window worsening with at least one 'high profile' departure.

Thanks for the update Kamy!

I don't follow the Stoke part though. Can you explain please?

Yeah the Stoke part was related to Junior, there are others such as Everton interested but again Rovers won't sell for £4-£5 million because they'd get circa £3-£4 million from at the end of the season from a tribunal.

If the window shuts and we have only got Sutter Olsson and Modeste in, I think the window has been a nightmare. None of them will improve our first XI!

Venkys last(final)(final,final) chance tomorrow??

If we keep hold of everyone It isnt the worst a lot of clubs seem to be struggling to bring in players. I still think we need a right back and a midfielder.

Im not sure but havent we only signed modeste on loan so far?

one thing is for sure, our squad wont have been improved with the mentioned names, it is/was vital that this window was used to bring in some quality to help our fight, we havent done that so when you look at what qpr have done and what bolton are trying to do, we have gone backwards in my opinion!!!

What Bolton are trying to do and what they will end up with might be very different things, though. I still think it will be 3 from Wigan, Rovers, Bolton and Wolves. As things stand tonight I think we have as good a squad as any of the other 3. Tomorrow might change that but lets see...

If we end the window with samba and junior still at the club then in the circumstances that's not bad.

Feel sorry for Kean? Not a chance, so much for 4 quick signings and the owners agreeing his list of players.

Also I can't see why we are trying to sell Formica, if Kean doesn't rate him then why has he played nearly every game? Surely Vuckie or Rochina would be the more obvious ones to sell?

You asked the question, then when nobody answered it you answered it yourself!

So-----"No I don't feel sorry for him in any foul circumstances whatsoever in which he might find himself."

Sup with the devil use a long spoon and all that.

I'd guess nobody wants them!
