Resigned Rover Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 QPR signing Zamora and Cisse... They'll be well out of our reach in a few weeks. Zamora & Cisse in the same strikeforce, fans sitting high up behind the goals be on red alert!!!
daveoftherovers Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 QPR signing Zamora and Cisse... They'll be well out of our reach in a few weeks. Agreed, but wasn't their most important signing Hughes? After that, the rest was simply inevitable.
Kelbo Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I am betting we will lose at least one player before the window closes, when its too late to do anything about it!!
simon1007 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I am betting we will lose at least one player before the window closes, when its too late to do anything about it!! well andrews is going but i presume u mean 1 of samba hoilett or dann
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2012 Backroom Posted January 31, 2012 Of course Hughes is a massive coup for them but anyone given money can bring in players even Kean. None of hughes signings are particularly inspired looking but money buys experience Blame lies with Venkys here not just the manager
Lurid Coat Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Kean on telly now spouting the usual BS. A lot of smirking and lip licking when asked if he could completely rule out any of the big names leaving Blackburn. Wanted to punch the effin screen upon seeing that grotesque face
davulsukur Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Agreed, but wasn't their most important signing Hughes? After that, the rest was simply inevitable. +1
Lurid Coat Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 We have all been angered by the way the British media has defended Kean and slaughtered the Rovers fans. However, the guys at the Norwegian Premier League channel have now spent a good few minutes ridiculing Kean and the way he went on about (in December, I think) Rovers planning to strengthen the team with several good players, having "active bids in", etc - and now we end up with Bradley Orr and Marcus Olsson. They've mocked him - and Venky's - several times before as well. These guys are amongst the few persons in the football media who see right through Kean's BS (apart from one or two British journos).
ewoodeagle Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 So there you have it folks... Business done so says our manager. I am frankly with the rest of you chaps of Rovers persuasion that we have been left out to hang and dry by our inept owners who despite their personal wealth fail to realise that an English Premiership club cannot survive on the finances even to which they are reluctant at investing into the club. They might of been able to talk the talk of promising to take us to the next level and such but they have failed on rule number one.. Keeping in constant contact with their supporters and communication channels. The fans are the most important people at the club not the chairman (if we had one) not the chief exec’ (again) not the sporting director (who?) and certainly in our case the manager. Venkys are killing our club it's the top and bottom of it and they would do us and themselves a huge favour in coming out and being honest and saying we cannot commit to funding Blackburn Rovers Football Club anymore and we were unaware of how much a project as big as BRFC would cost to operate. This would please me because they would finally see exactly what all of us have seen unfold in front of our eyes for the past 12 or so months.
simon1007 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 on a different note...got to be a bonus that newcastle's strike partnership aint available for the game against us tomorrow
Blueboy Downunder Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 so this souza geezer from brazil, or however the (Please don't use that word again) you spell it, has flown into england to help rovers make 3 signings, of which one was for free, another on loan and a bloke who aint a regular at his club. well, STONE THE ###### CROWS! and will he be doing this for free?
Ripleys love child Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 on a different note...got to be a bonus that newcastle's strike partnership aint available for the game against us tomorrow Caybaye aswell should be out as he's been charged by fa
gazsimm Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Of course Hughes is a massive coup for them but anyone given money can bring in players even Kean. None of hughes signings are particularly inspired looking but money buys experience Blame lies with Venkys here not just the manager Venkys are the major part of downhill slide towards the championship i agree, but what really anoys me is when Kean comes out and says things like we are going to do deals early in the transfer window and we have got active bids in for players, when he knows he is talking rubbish, not to mention we will be in the champions league in 3 years time!!. If he wants to win the fans over he should just keep his gob shut! What as happend to the Venkys anyway, we use to hear from them nearly every week, now we don't hear a whisper from them.
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2012 Backroom Posted January 31, 2012 Funny and a sorry state that the only time we believe Kean is when it's bad news
simon1007 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Caybaye aswell should be out as he's been charged by fa your right...so we should i repeat SHOULD!! win the game and with arsenal to follow we need to!!
blue_n_white99 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Of course Hughes is a massive coup for them but anyone given money can bring in players even Kean. None of hughes signings are particularly inspired looking but money buys experience Blame lies with Venkys here not just the manager Tom, I think people are ###### off, because once again the deluded clown has blatantly lied to the fans yet again with his statements about how we would operate this transfer window. The reality is underwhelming to say the least. Does anybody at Ewood know how to tell the truth or are they all practising spin doctors/lying illegitimates these days. Venkys and Kean had an opportunity this transfer window to revitalise a poor, poor team who have spent almost all season in the bottom three, instead they have done nothing. This inactivity along with Coco's ineptitude will get us relegated, and once we are down it will be a near impossible task to return..............sad, sad days ahead.
2PAC 4 Blackburn Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Pogba loan deal ruled out as hes in the Utd squad tonight.
The Rover of Finland Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Spurs has sent Corluka to Leverkusen on loan. There were also talks about Rodallega joining them and Defoe going to Liverpool. Wonder if they are raising funds for one big name. Samba comes to my mind,,
donis1410 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I cannot believe that we have been had by Kean and his big ol' BS once more. Signings to strengthen the squad??? A player who has only scored 17 goals in 4 years at a "top swedish" club and a player that cannot even get into the team with one of our relegation rivals......I just hope we can hold on to our other players. The only good news was offloading Jason Roberts from the wage bill.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Kean was lied to as much as anyone. I wish he'd come out and express just how annoyed he must be. This window isn't his fault. Venkys are a disgrace.
Lurid Coat Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Henning Berg questioning and criticizing Venky's leadership - or lack thereof - of the club at Norwegian TV now. The other panelists (including Peter Beagrie) in complete agreement.
Mattyblue Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Kean was lied to as much as anyone. I wish he'd come out and express just how annoyed he must be. This window isn't his fault. Venkys are a disgrace. Who says he has been lied to? Kean is a base liar himself, ergo I didn't beleive him for a second when he babbled on about doing business early. Kean is merely doing the bidding of his masters.

Venkys are a disgrace. Kean is Venkys lying scum puppet, there is absolutely no way he is innocent in all this BS
