Kelbo Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I'd be willing to put a wager on it. We are talking major sales here, like I said in my post. I do know of a serious bid for one of our players being put in, now Kean and Venkys could say, no one will go, maybe so, maybe not, but would you really believe either of them, maybe the bid (s) will be rejected, maybe not, maybe they wont have an option

Torgeir Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 How can Cisse be playing for QPR this week yet we can't get Olsson's clearance in time? Olsson was done hours before Cisse! Loan vs. permanent? Not sure...
simon1007 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Loan vs. permanent? Not sure... could not get international clearance in time for olsson..

Ricky Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Without wanting to jump on your back Wimbledon Rover, just take a bit of time to familiarise yourself with the posting guidelines. We are fairly strict on text speak, I notice it has sneaked into a few of your posts.
Roverdale Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 could not get international clearance in time for olsson.. That's the official line from Kean but QPR are confident of getting Cisse's with plenty of time. Are the Swiss FA that incompetent? Doubtful? Not implying anything sinister just confuse as to how slow we seem to be at doing anything.
Sandiway Blue Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Apperently buisness wount be finished after orr and it soesnt envovle aplay moving out but in... Bit early for drinking on a work day......
blue_n_white99 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 That's the official line from Kean but QPR are confident of getting Cisse's with plenty of time. Are the Swiss FA that incompetent? Doubtful? Not implying anything sinister just confuse as to how slow we seem to be at doing anything. We are slow because we have no club infrastructure and Coco and Venkys are lying incompetent scumbags Bit early for drinking on a work day...... As a Rovers fan in the present climate it is never too early to start drinking
perthblue02 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 looking forward to the transfer window after the cheer leading words from the master tactician about getting our deals done early and strengthening the squad, when does it start?
Devon Rover Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 looking forward to the transfer window after the cheer leading words from the master tactician about getting our deals done early and strengthening the squad, when does it start? Love it! But we have strengthened a bit- J Rob has left, remember.
EwoodDawn Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 If this is the end of our window, either Kean lied to us at the start of it or he's been badly let down by the Roas and Desais. If the latter is the case then why doesn't he come out tomorrow and say so? What has he got to lose? Either a) Mrs D will take the hump and sack him, meaning he gets 'made for life' type pay out and he doesn't have the stigma of being the manager who physically took BRFC down, or b)he'll become even more of a martyr in the eyes of his SSN and Talkrubbish pals - and as for Jim White...well. Unless of course Kean did lie to us after all.
darwenfish Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Eurobot: BLACKBURN ROVERS: Duncan Castles of the Sunday Times tweets that the club have failed with an offer for Leeds United midfielder Robert Snodgrass. Don't know how true this is?
Lurid Coat Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Reported on Norwegian TV2 as well. Snodgrass is in tonight's Leeds squad - a transfer is highly unlikely. HIGHLY doubt we could afford him anyway
1864roverite Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Am in a reading hotel and I believe a certain Mr Roberts is in a room on the same floor as me. I am going to keep a look oiut for him and see if I can grab a few words whilst watching the Everton v City match.
MarkBRFC71 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Sky reporting West Brom in for Andrews ....
Amo Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Potentially Roberts AND Andrews leaving the club! ...So why do I feel so empty?
LeChuck Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Sky reporting West Brom in for Andrews .... Was Hodgson at Fulham when they tried to buy him? Makes sense if so.
rog of the rovers Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Andrews out Caceres in? Twitter talk at the moment.
rovers11 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Potentially Roberts AND Andrews leaving the club! ...So why do I feel so empty? Because the players we are signing are worse than those two. I'd take Andrews over Orr and Roberts over Modeste.
Drover Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Andrews out Caceres in? Twitter talk at the moment. Surely there's no time for that now. Especially considering the snail pace out club moves at. I'd like to think the club are poised to reinvest the Andrews money/wages into another midfielder either perm or loan but I think that is wishful thinking. Maybe at a properly run club....
Devon Rover Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Because the players we are signing are worse than those two. I'd take Andrews over Orr and Roberts over Modeste. I'm not saying our signings are any good but I'd take almost any professional football striker over Roberts. Especially when you consider that Roberts would not have been selected again anyway so we have gained a player (quality yet to be proven). Unless you would prefer nobody to Modeste then its one decent thing to have happened this window.
pick32 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Andrews out Caceres in? Twitter talk at the moment. Never get him in time. Cryer had confirmation no more ins
