m0r94n Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Surely if they want Venkys XPRS to be a success they should open it in Burnley? The PR works already been done!
Waggy76 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Surely if they want Venkys XPRS to be a success they should open it in Burnley? The PR works already been done! Can you eat a Venkys XPRS with your feet ?
EwoodDawn Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Can you eat a Venkys XPRS with your feet ? Maybe the 'lollipop chicken' - oh what a mental image!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fans protestng for 24 hrs, local and national media criticism and still we hear nothing from Venky's...TOTALLY WRONG AND UNACCEPTABLE!! When are our 'owners' going to take full and proper responsibility for our club?
Devon Rover Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fans protestng for 24 hrs, local and national media criticism and still we hear nothing from Venky's...TOTALLY WRONG AND UNACCEPTABLE!! When are our 'owners' going to take full and proper responsibility for our club? Never, SG194. I don't think they have any interest in taking any responsiblity for their 'baby'.
yoda Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fans protestng for 24 hrs, local and national media criticism and still we hear nothing from Venky's...TOTALLY WRONG AND UNACCEPTABLE!! When are our 'owners' going to take full and proper responsibility for our club? They won't, they have been working with chickens so long thats what they have turned into! The picture you can imagine is like when you run into a chicken coup, the chickens all run off in different directions, So picture the Venkys boardroom, MR ROAD runs in with the latest news about us supporters, well you know what happens!
miqaayil Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I think somebody told them to keep quiet till results improve on pitch ....
Rover_Shaun Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I think somebody told them to keep quiet till results improve on pitch .... Lifetime vow of silence under Coco then
yoda Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I think somebody told them to keep quiet till results improve on pitch .... That would come about if they took responsibility and did the right thing
Majiball Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Can you eat a Venkys XPRS with your feet ? surely they are likely to view it as cannabolism?

AllRoverAsia Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/01/30/blackburn-owners-make-goodwill-payment-to-bank-as-pressure-mounts-300102/ That's scary. Goodwill gesture? There's a lot more going on that's for sure.
OJRovers Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Goodwill gesture... wow that's generous of the owners to stop the bank forcing us into administration. £2m from chickens, £8m from Samba, there's your £10m.
AllRoverAsia Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 So we avoided meltdown again? Looks like it's on the back boiler for a week or two
BuckyRover Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Looks like it's on the back boiler for a week or two That's the case for most PL teams though. A missed payment away from disaster
Mattyblue Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 'Venky's expected net sales on players this window and to lower the wage bill.' 'We hope for top 5 or maybe better'.
BangkokRover Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 That's the case for most PL teams though. A missed payment away from disaster Which teams Bucky?
BangkokRover Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Any with debt Yeah OK so Man U are in debt are they in trouble?
Mercer Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Goodwill gesture... wow that's generous of the owners to stop the bank forcing us into administration. £2m from chickens, £8m from Samba, there's your £10m. many a true word spoken in jest !!! You might not be too far off the mark there.
BuckyRover Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Yeah OK so Man U are in debt are they in trouble? Apparently so. Ask Phillipl, he is very learned on this issue.
BangkokRover Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Apparently so. Ask Phillipl, he is very learned on this issue. So Phillipl has said Man U are in threat. Some how I doubt Phillipl said that at all.
A cup of beans Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Goodwill gesture... wow that's generous of the owners to stop the bank forcing us into administration. £2m from chickens, £8m from Samba, there's your £10m. add to that.. the money saved on roberts, salgado's (if they can get rid) wages and that would more than cover it! bucky makes a good point, re others being in debt, but IMO the banks seem suspicious of venkys (in terms of payments made on time etc..) ANY suspicions are all of the owners own making though
