Ok.

Tread lightly here. We are re-opening the discussion, but sadly every post now has to be moderated before it is visible.

However, no comment can contain anything that could be vewied by anyone as libelous or as harrasment. Stick to the facts, keep opinion to your opinion of the facts not your opinions of the people involved.

.... also don't get too upset if the mods don't approve your posts, we're having to be very very very careful around this subject.

Thanks Glenn, understand fully.

I saw Dawn's post on here earlier about the email she had sent to SSN in reply to JA's comments.

Just saw it read out on Sky, almost in full so at least it was nice to see them giving the fans opinion as well.

Also read out a comment from someone who didn't agree with the protests but said that the people protesting are absoloutley 100% fans as much as anyone else.

Don't worry people we're saved! Myles can speak 3 languages.....

As has been mentioned a lot of waffle 'well documented' was used a lot but never backed up as on keans appointment, all he said was he was employed as a coach by Sam so that answers thst question. Nothing about why he got the job......

To be fair to kean he seems to have reigned his positive rhetoric in since the Bolton game which to a point has helped but then this happens and just shows that no one cares it's 9 months since our last clean sheet, we are rock bottom, experienced players being dumped when we need them, no communication and a lack of even an average signing or two......

This is the end

Beautiful friend

This is the end

My only friend, the end

Of our elaborate plans, the end

Of everything that stands, the end

No safety or surprise, the end

I'll never look into your eyes...again

Yes it is the 'End Game' now. We must stand tall and proud and take our club our Ewood back.

Yesterday I got a reply to the email that I'd sent to Paul Hunt before Christmas. It didn't tell me much, but it was a personal reply from him and not the generic response that had been posted up on here in the past. Against my better judgement I actually started to feel more 'positive' about things after reading it.

And then this happened. My club are bottom out the league, clearly on their way to relegation, with lots of big scary numbers in the newly released accounts - and it turns out that this is all my fault.

As I said in the other thread the first portion of the interview was the ego stroke, building Anderson up to this level of "sporting hero" for bringing Bergkamp to the PL (immediately going with the Agents aren't all bad line). The middle third was establishing his role at the club and allowed him a platform to "clarify his role" at the club and then the final part was the sob story. Very well constructed as it makes it look as if the fans (or "Blackburn People" as Anderson referred to us) are out to get this pinnacle of sporting goodness.

Not sure on the timing, airing it when most people would be at work but I suppose it means that at 5pm they can play snippets for people who can't be bothered to view the whole thing to eat up. Still, and this is the most confusing part for me, it didn't seem like an interview that someone who "very rarely makes public appearances" would benefit from. SSN at 10am is not a huge platform and apart from Rovers fans, who will really listen or care?

I am going to do my best twinkle toes routine for a minute.

Anderson. That has to be the biggest reverse psychology ever. He has got the "dark forces" bit right.

Ive been stunned by the absolute lack of support from the people at Sky. They keep on airing all support for Kean and his muppet backers.

No questions asked as to why John Williams, Tom Finn were removed from thier posts.

Im thinking it may be to facilitate underhand dealings at the Rovers. That is not libelous, its a mere observation.

I say this shows that we have an incredible fight on our hands. It tells me the Venkys PR machine is working on the media.

It says the protesters have to stay focused.

I look forward to the open meeting.

The fight has to continue.

I'd like to send my email to ESPN, too, since they published a written version of the interview but have only just finished sorting out family and getting ready for work tomorrow. Does anyone have a useful email address to hand before I spend ages trying to find one?

The Daily Mail story on the interview had 25 replies last time I looked. All of them or just about were totally supportive of the Rovers supporters stance and these included posts from an Everton fan and a Preston fan. The comments were way,way more critical of Anderson than anything posted on here.

if he was going to sue anyone he'd start there I think!

Ok Andersen - riddle me this...

Which fan removed the ex-manager?,

Which fan removed John Williams?

Which fan decided to promote an inexperienced football person to one of the top 20 jobs in English football?

Which fan decided to let experienced pros leave the club without adequate replacements in place?

All the problems above were created by people who don't sit in the stands week in week out. Protests are a symptom, not a cause!

Get KEAN out and you will see the atmosphere at the club change instantly.

The fans are brfc best friend, not yours, venkys or keans. Our club is more important than you collectively. That's why we are fans, and that's why we demonstrate.

The best riddle though is why go on ssn for that interview? Is there something else to follow?

Feck.

I doubt this will get through moderation....

But how can somebody sit in the Sky Sports studio and blatantly state that Steve Kean instigated the team to "progress" ... Stating the likes of;

Olsson (given his debut by Ince)

Hanley (given his debut by Allardyce)

Hoilett (given his ((ridiculously short)) contract and debut by Allardyce)

PHIL FECKING JONES!?!? and then have the cheek to state how he is progressing well at Man united thanks to the skills of our abhorred manager...

I am honestly more disgusted that SSN could let that go out on air.... I mean even the pause for the crocodile tear...

Surely this is not real.

I'm sure he'll read this site and thread. Vanity prevails.

If so, in the words of In Brown and John Squire;

I never wanted

The love that you showed me

It started to choke me

And how i wish i'd said

No too slow

I couldn't take

That too fast

I want you to know

You know it

You show it

But i can't back down

It's far too late

I can't wait

Now the time has come

It'll all work out

And when this

Thing is done

It'll leave no doubt

So when you've

Had your fun

Will you all walk out?

I'd love to do it and you know you've always had it coming

I only have one simple question that I want answering.

What force, individual, group or body...

  • appointed Kean manager and is keeping him in that position?
  • removed professionals such as John Williams from the club (and - crucially - silenced them)?
  • has the media criticising BRFC fans for their "treatment" of Kean, while managers with vastly better records (Warnock, Bruce) are removed from their posts with little media interest?
  • has forced a group of fans that are nationally considered amongst the least militant into regular protests?
  • has forced this site (and others) to monitor closely and specifically any allegation that may be made or implied with an air of heightened security?

Am I just being paranoid? I hope so, because if there is an answer and it ever gets out, this might not just kill our club, but football as we know it.

just watched the full interview, dont no what disgusts me more, the pathetic manipulative performance or the fact that sky sports gave him pretty much a full 20 mins to say what ever he wanted without being interupted, as for the content of what he said we all know he ranged from massively exagerated and biased too out right lies then even throwing in the inciuation of a conspiracy against the current brfc regim.

one thought i had is maybe hes trying to push the venkys hand to sack kean, meaning kean would get a massive life changing amount of money and they can both walk of into the sunset together leaving blackburn with millions in their back pockets.

Finally, was it just me or did anybody else get the feeling when he was saying that the protesters had a dark hidden agenda against the owners he was 'possibly' hinting at (or trying to put the idea peoples head) that theirs some kind of race issue(venkys beaing Indian and all), which their just isnt.

Hi Jerome.

Thought your hair looked great for a rug.

You have a Son - who does he play for?

I was so sad to see you in tears.

I really do hope that things get better in your life - have you ever considered confessing any sin you may or may not have done, it will make you feel better.

You are a lovely man and I'm sorry that you feel that there are bad people in your life like horrible football Fans.

Take care Jerome and good luck in ripping off your next victim. Are you an aunthentic Shyster because you look like one.

If things go bad for you you can always get the part of any Barrow Boy.

Final note: STFU
