[Archived] Letter which exposes the history of the Blackburn crisis

This is the tip of the iceberg. There must be much much more to come out. My only worry is thst it is only Nick Harris running these stories and when he loses interest that will be the end of it.

However things are starting to fall into place now, in particular, Anderson's Sky interview.

The letter is dated 4th January less than 2 months after Venkys takeover of the club on 19th November. What happened before and after the 19th November to generate this letter. In my experience a letter like this is very much a last resort and will be referring to numerous events that happened between the takeover and the date of the letter.

I think we can logically work out what happened prior to the takeover and who the key influencers on BOTH sides are (I mean the trust and obviously the Rao family recruited someone to help them buy them a EPL club which has been conveniently not mentioned).

Get the feeling there are some nasty skeletons in the closet.

They are sending transportation for me to pick me up at just before 6pm, I will be on the BBC World service live on TV , Its viewed worldwide on TV and by internet access in UK, India certainly has this channel. I will be also taking calls throughout the hour between 7pm and 8pm , this is massive breakthrough for group,

I will be giving our story for the most of the hour and hope to address as many key issues as possible

Emphasise that Kean has not been subject to unusual abuse. It's no different to anything that has happened at Newcastle, Liverpool or Sunderland in the past. You, unlike most critics, were at the game and thus know the real nature of all that has been directed at Kean.

Looks like something else could be about to leak out that could result in a firing, apparantly to do with an email sent out?

"@reluctantnicko: @farmers_rover It's way too delicate. It would cost somebody their job. Got to consider this carefully. And u know not to ask for clues"

What I don't understand is, did someone work on behalf of the trust/rothschild's to find buyers, or did someone work on behalf of the Raos to find a football club, and convince Venkys that owning a club would be easy/beneficial to them?

If so were these "someones" different or the same people? Or was it just a chance encounter that meant a prospective buyer just happened upon?

I get the feeling (nothing more than that) that Venkys were looking for an advertising campaign, and maybe even funding, for global expansion, and were sold the benefits of low UK interest rates as an added bonus on top of the PR vehicle that would be PL football club ownership? In theory they could break even, making it cheaper than paying for advertising?

Then something went wrong...?

It will be Kean's PA admitting she reply's to the 500 letters a day and not the great man himself

Think about the bad publicity this will create for the Venkys brand. Indian business is all about integrity. It will be a massive blow for them and their growth.

You still can not force a sale - no matter how bad the publicity - if there is not a buyer for the club. It is not as though you can force somebody to buy the club.

Don't understand how these things work. But cannot see venkys being FORCED TO SELL. After all there would have to be somebody wanting to buy. Fines, points deduction, maybe transfer ban, although bad enough, cannot see how venkys would be affected.

Hope I am wrong though.

If they have broken the rules, they could in my opinion, Venkys, having agreed to such, lose everything, yes including Rovers, happens all the time, you enter into to a contractual agreement with severe consequences if you ignore the small print!

That is what I was referring to in my post at the start of page 2 on this thread.

Quite where Rovers will be left when all of this comes out is anybody's guess but I suspect this post on Sporting Intelligence is the start of a tsunami of dung heading towards Pune.

But would still need a buyer. Force venkys out, great. Then what. Who to come in?

depends on the small print, could be that they forfeit the club to the previous owners and are liable for all costs!

The Rao's were actively looking to buy an EPL club and instructed you know who......hence another conflict of interest.

Unless I misinterpreted it, JA admitted working on behalf of the Trust in his SSN interview. Assuming there is proof he was also acting on behalf of Venkys, this seems a clear conflict of interest.

I'm assuming he declared this to both parties but in any case I can only assume that it's not illegal?

Whatever else Philip said he was bang on correct about Anderson and identified the threat to Rovers long before anyone else.

This is true. Phillip was the first to sound the alarm about JA.

A DPA request on the other hand could be rather revealing (but would have to be done by Sam himself, not by anyone else).

Well, Kean's most recent Mail interview could give Sam the motivation to give a bit of stick.

3 guesses would get you there?

Surley JA would have know or have contacts that would have informed him that this letter was in existance and from his point of view this information had fallen into the "wrong hands"

. . . all just my opinion of course maybe im looking at it the wrong way

There are too many people who could have access to this letter. The three authors. The Football Secretary. The typist. Mrs. D. The person who opens/screens Ms. D's mail. Did the brothers have copies and/or access? Any employees who may have access to the files in Pune or Ewood, not the least of which may be the janitor. Anyone whom they may have sought advice from; for example did Mrs. D provide a copy to JA and ask him any questions? If so, perhaps SEM/Kentaro released it? And there are 10,000s who are Rovers fans; it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that one or more may be expert computer hackers. I'm sure there are a half-dozen other realistic possibilities that have not occurred to me.

I think the thought that it came from the three authors is speculation, as too many could have copies and/or access.

The real question is who benefits from its release now? Did Mrs. D sanction it's release to rebut JA's protestations of innocence on Sky? Was a member of the "old guard" (as Nicko calls them) upset about JA or Kean's most recent interviews? Did Sam have a copy and released it to stick Kean, who demonstrated very poor judgment in going after Sam recently? Are there other possibilities?

Easy it could be to do with sem's involvement and mrs desai's trust in them to organise matters and they obviously just did what they want and played running a club.

And Kean is a client of theirs and was already at the club, and andersen has rated him before as his client with potential to become a top manager so it was an easy decision

"Potential for becoming a top manager" is generally established in the lower leagues, not the Premier League. If Venkys knew anything about football, or spoke with anyone who knew anything about football, alarm bells should be been ringing when Kean was suggested as permanent manager.

Massive weekend for us. Three points and now the beginnings of exposing venkys.

I'd rather expose SEM/Kentaro, if they are somehow culpable. If something wrong was going on, it is my sincere hope that Venkys were dupes, not accomplishes. If on the other hand the reverse is true, see below.

Quite where Rovers will be left when all of this comes out is anybody's guess but I suspect this post on Sporting Intelligence is the start of a tsunami of dung heading towards Pune.

So long as the Rovers are left standing, that would be fine. The Raos have done nothing to earn my sympathy. Especially as it is now confirmed they marginalized and by-passed a very experienced board which, in my opinion, essentially created the mess we are in (if for no other reason, credible communication between fans and club was reduced dramatically).
