I expect Bolton to beat Liverpool and we go back in bottom 3.

That's the type of league it is now - expect the unexpected !

I would not bet against you. ;)

3 from 5, simple as that/.

Think it will be Wolves, Wigan and Rovers,

Your full of hope, keep the faith.

Bolton have lost Cahill and replaced him with a no name, I don't see them making any decent signings this window and they've been awful up to now, they will go down this year.

A point away to a side positioned above us in the table, I'm happy with that.

What I liked most was that we played with confidence today, and in the first half we played some good football. Petrovic is at last starting to look like he belongs in this league, but still needs to improve. However I like the partnership of the Zonz and Petrovic; I like having two midfielders of that ilk in there, who can keep possession and pass the ball accurately. Some superb sweeping passes from Petrovic to Olsson early in the game.

Shame that QPR won today, but does at least put another point between us and Wigan. Wolves lost as well, and hopefully Liverpool will find some form tonight.

I think we have a slither of hope. Our home games are difficult compare to the first half of the season.

I must admit - it does worry me that we managed to lose so many games that (on paper) were against less talented opposition. However - our present style of play does seem (at the moment) to suit playing away from home (i.e. defend in depth and hit on the break). Given our points return it is absolutely amazing we still have a chance of avoiding relegation.

Agree along with Wigan.

Think it's us or Wolves - how costly might that opening game of the season be ?

Relegation will be hugely influenced by the results of this transfer window. Bolton have been hit hard by Cahil leaving. They struggle to score and have now lost their defensive linchpin.

Petrovic stepping up could be massive for us. If he can continue to look more adept to PL football, his presence could be vital. Lets hope todays performance wasn't a flash in the pan.

He did predict we'd lose 3-1 today, I'm feeling a bit more sceptical against 'Mystic Merce' now. ;)

Pity you didn't follow my tip on Wednesday for the VC @ Ascot today, for those who did, Somersby delivered big style !

No chance QPR will go under Hughes, I thought West Brom might have been sucked in but they're not going to.

Definitely 3 from 4 now. I think we've got more about us than Wigan. A lot depends on how Bolton spend the Cahill money - waste it and I think we can beat them. Wolves are tricky to figure out, not much quality but will fight.

It's going to be tight. At least we're not cut adrift as many of us feared prior to the Man Utd game.

What a weird game! With goal-line technology and fourth official video-referees this game might have ended 0-0 or 0-1. That header in the 1st half...was it in? Drunk off my feet so excuse me spelling. Great effort by the team but feel that Rovers under the Trust would've won this as Everton clearly was there for the taking. been much of the story this season if you ask me...lot of the teams we've played we've met under bad spells. Still...it's an away point and right now that feels like hitting the jackpot! Cheers!

Also good to see Newcastle getting a good spanking from Fulham away after we beat Fulham last week. A Newcastle-side missing Ba,Tiote and Cisse. Next game will be against Newcastle the day after the transferwindow is closed. Am I wrong in thinking they will still miss those three? Here's hoping we'll nick a point or three in that game as well. Now: CELEBRATE! :rover:

Very good performance overall, a point was the least we deserved after hitting the woodwork twice in the first half and given that the Everton goal was an absolute joke. Fellani "passed" the ball to the scorer with his arm, how two officials managed to miss it is anyone's guess.

Two much improved levels of performance in the last two games and since our lowest point against Bolton we've managed eight points from five games. If we can keep that sort of form up (which is by no means a given) we should survive quite comfortably.

Also I thought Dann didnt look as stong, mobile or commanding in either box as hanley has the last few games.

Dann makes me really really nervous dont see his strengths Doesnt suprise me Birmingham got relegated relying on him. He has either been injured or just looked shakey, maybe its just his confidence but we are struggling to keep goals out as it is without a low confident defender.

Well, "taking the positives", a point's better than nowt, I suppose; and we're still [just] out of the relegation zone.

However, the gap between us in 17th and WBA in 15th is now up to seven points. :o

Remember, one team always gets dragged into it. Us and Blackpool looked safe at the end of jan last year and looked what happened there. Things can look very different after each game. Imagine if we win next week and west brom and swansea lose, we will suddenly be in touching distance of them.

Anyway, great result today.

It's a good point irrespective of other results. If we can keep up playing like we are we're gonna give it a real run to avoid relegation. Hopefully we can take this momentum into the game with Newcastle next week. (Please don't use that word again) Venkys but we need to stay up for the club to survive

I can't work it out either. By centre half standards, he's not particularly big, he's not that dominant in the air, he's not particularly quick. He's reasonable at most things but I'm struggling to find an asset that separates him from hundreds of other centre backs.

Hope springs eternal, but I was just offering an honest assessment. It's hard to call which 3 will go down. And I asgree with LeChuck that QPR should be OK. So really, 3 from 4.

If we get out of it, it will be the skin of our teeth.

Watched the game on Fox, I don't know if it's just the location of the microphones as I could hear our fans in the background for the full 90 minutes and could hear the moans and groans coming from the home support .... But for the first time ever I never heard one song or chant from a home crowd very bizarre ..Looked full without any emotion anywhere to be seen

Bloody hell Noblob 2:0 up

The only song I remember hearing was the Givet one, apart from that nothing.
