It saddens me that if Black comes in. then we've had 3 assistants who could do a better job than the manager LOL :)

Still no official announcement.

How much does he want this job ?

Firstly, we are given to believe that he wanted days to think over and then, possibly, contractual issues.

If I was recruiting and a potential candidate behaved like that, he or she would be told to sling it.

Time to move on, I think.

It is probable Rovers who are holding everything up - mainly venkys.

Agreed. They will be wanting a ridiculous clause in his contract that he isn't keen on or something similar.

Trips to Pune with Kean? 14 hours with SK would definitely be something you'd worry about. Or could it be the Raos refusing to pay the necessary funds? Surely not! Or perhaps he's read our thread about the non-payment of wages rumour.

Ridiculous isn't it? The club obviously informed media sources that he would be announced at a press conference yesterday, the BBC don't report things like that otherwise.

Just another sign of how poorly our club is run nowadays.

I take you've never had experience of recruiting skilled personnel then?

Agreed, however, he's not feckin employed by Rovers yet !!!

Absolutely unblievable and no wonder we are seen as a joke - IMO of course.

I must admit I'm pretty happy about this appointment. I think he's the best out of the three we've had this season but time will tell.

Did well as number 2 at Wigan and Brum. Must take a lot of credit from there.

I'm going predict that we will keep a clean in the next three games and see a marked improvement to our organisation on the field...and not because Kean has suddenly inherited tactical skills.
