[Archived] Are the players really behind Kean

It's amazing what a couple of wins can do. It's like the systematic unravelling of the club in the past 12 months never happened!

You are quite right Topman and clearly we are in the midst of unprecented times. But the players on the park can still get us the results we need if the gods are with us.

I am no doubt basking in the warm glow of recent weeks, but in all honesty can you blame me? Kean himself will have noted what happens at Ewood when we dig in and play well (everyone leaves him alone). The players will have noticed it too. They will be buzzing after all that has gone on.

I honestly believe we can beat Everton and Newcastle but we probably won't because our season is not shaping up that way. I will still be at Goodison (behind a big bloody pillar) craning my neck to see us do it!

I spoke to a few players at the end of last season who were 100% behind Kean, whether or not that remains the case I'm not sure.

I would imagine quite a few of them are sympathetic towards him as much as anything else now.

colt your optimism is delusion, kean isnt all of sudden getting it right, a win against a weak fulham side and once-in-a-lifetime win against a severely depleted man utd side doesnt mean kean is getting it right, have you forgotten the defeats to newcastle and stoke between these TWO wins, one swallow doesnt make a summer, we will see at the end of the season how he is progressing, until then the jury is very much still out!!!

No---the jury delivered its verdict months ago and the judge won't listen.

Come on credit where its due eh! United away we were fantastic, you sound like a plastic Manc saying a depleted Man Utd side, it was the side Fergie chose, he could have picked Gibson, Giggs & Rooney but decided not to. It was our YOUNGEST EVER premier league team....so you might find we were 'severely depleted'.

Noticed you also missed a very good point away to Liverpool. Oh and a weak Fulham side? Did you watch the game? Did you honestly think on 23 minutes, ah 10 men, no problems, this lot are weak??

Dont talk sh!te. Dont mind Kean bashing when its fair, but you cannot deny we have seen an improvement since HT in the Bolton game compared to what we had seen in the 1st part of the season.

Its also four years since a side went down to ten men and scored three goals (last time Arsenal v Bolton).

Hughesy, don't waste your energy. Some people are 100% focussed on Kean and nothing will get in their way, including a decent run of form. These nutters are on a crusade in the name of loving the club. Yet it's all about Kean and nothing to do with Rovers, regardless of what they claim. Captain Ahab and Moby Dick springs to mind.

I don't see why anybody should be focused on Kean at all from now on.

For me, he is an integral part of the disintegation of a fantastic football club, however he wil only leave when the owners do.

Just ignore the man and support the players.

apart from Norwich

We beat them by 15 minutes and in case you have forgotton they have 11 more points than us.

That will be a nice thought to take into the Championship.

Don't remind me - worst match of the season; walking away from the groundf it felt like a defeat. Norwich are doing just great - battling away and picking up points here and there with late late goals. Just like Rovers used to be.
