footypix Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 PADIHAM LFC (0) v BLACKBURN ROVERS LFC (5) - LANCASHIRE WOMEN'S CUP SEMI-FINAL Blackburn Rovers won a place in another Lancashire Women's Cup Final with a comfortable 5-0 over Padiham. The hosts had former Rovers captain Justine Wallace in the line-up, but couldn't cope with Rovers passing game in windy conditions at the Arbories. Captain Hannah Forster took the headlines with a brace, whilst centre-half Dani Cox scored her 2nd of the season. Further goals from Danielle Sheen and sub Nichol Forster capped a comfortable day for Rovers. Rovers will play Blackpool Wren Rovers in the final, which will be played at the County Ground, Leyland. Date to be arranged. Rovers are next in-action against Rochdale Ladies, in the 1st group game in this season's WPL League Cup.
