They really are an embarresment.

Sehwag is an even more brainless captain than Dhoni.

Bowling himself first over after Tea?!

Indeed, Matty.

I'm waiting on photographic evidence of our esteemed leader, during one of our games, or, at a post match interview.

Sharma has it for me, he always looks like he's lost the lottery after the crappiest ball he's sent down.

I'll be there for days 4 and 5 and was looking forward to seeing two of cricket's super powers duke it out. Very disappointing that India have barely laid a glove on an Aussie side in transition throughout the series.

I know Adelaide normally goes to a fifth day.

However I'm not too optimistic that this Test will.

Hope you didn't pay for day five, DGS, it's free....

This aussie side is on the up, Watson, Cummins and Pattinson still out. We haven't seen the best of this team yet.

3 Vince Grellas there Dave.

Watson's the only sicknote, the other two are being protected because of their age.

At this stage, when (if) Watson is fit, then he should take Marsh's place.

The team seems to have that buzz about them. The next series should give an indication of how they are travelling.

Maybe Mickey Arthur has something about him, coaching wise. We shall see.

Disagree with you there Dave.

Plus Khawaja should come back into the team. There should also be a spot for Christian.

Had a friend's ticket for day four but had just come off nights so didnt make it. As for day five it would have been over with by the time I trailed in from the NE suburbs.

BTW I saw Steven Smith interviewed on the box the other day. He was touted as the next big thing at one point against the Poms. I know he is only a young lad but he seems to have dropped off the scene.

He's an NSW lad isnt he?

Yep, all rounder - leg spin. But his batting has been erratic (although he scored a century in the Shield against SA before xmas), and I don't think the current selectors are really looking for a leg spinner.

I guess with the current series a whitewash, they would not be looking to experiment with making too many changes. Maybe we'll see him in the one dayers and 20/20.

They may also be hesitating because leggies are inevitably compared (almost always unfavourably) to the legend - even if the legend is looking like a plastic mannequin advert for a metrosexual make up company these days
