laughatthedingles Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Why does the pitch appear to have been cut right up to the line nd replaced with what looks like a 3G surface? Is it indeed a 3G surface? I'm guessing it is some UEFA encouraged idea like the black netting is. The pitch at Stamford Bridge in particular goes right up to the goalline, surely that could affect a balls bounce? Also if you have studs for the pitch and are forced to continue running onto that it must pose a risk, similarly with corners?
