SAS Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Some came out and commented on Keans abuse last month. A man who has piloted the downfall of a football team whilst telling lots of lies along the way. Now today we have had a man who was the victim of a crime, being booed, having songs calling him a liar. And even one guy in the crowd making monkey movements at the player. What's worse? Will David Moyes come out and say he was that disgusted he left at half time? Will a 'super agent' go on SSN and cry about the abuse?

BuckyRover Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 No they won't. Everyone knows this to be the case. The general feeling at the moment will be that Liverpools fans are bad but Blackburn are worse. It's amazing how much influence the media have

It's amazing how much influence the media have Yep, if there was ever a video in a digital dictionary for the words disgusting and disgrace, it would be showing LFC's fans there. The club should be heavily fined and that idiot doing the monkey dance should have charges pressed against him, and be banned from all football stadiums for the rest of his life.
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2012 Backroom Posted January 28, 2012 Found the Liverpool fans disgusting today, people booing and chanting at Evra for having the temerity to report being racially abused. I did find the United song funny: It's never your fault, It's never your fault, always the victims, It's never your fault Sums em up for me. On the flip side 3 United fans arrested for spitting on the Hillsborough monument

If there is video footage of the bit in bold, I expect him to be prosecuted, and receive a ban from football, much like the Rovers fan who did the same thing to Dwight Yorke, quite rightly, was. Backroom DE. Posted January 28, 2012 Backroom Posted January 28, 2012 On the flip side 3 United fans arrested for spitting on the Hillsborough monument Source, Tom? I was under the impression that was just a twitter rumour.

Totally agree. I was also disgusted by ITV's decision to cut to Suarez after each goal and at the end to watch him celebrating. Can someone remind me, was it Evra or Suarez who was found guilty and action taken against?
Elvis McSmithy Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 There are a lot of no brain idiotic morons in the world and they arnt going too change just because they are in a football stadium, all they need is an excuse to play the prat(to put it lightly!) and play it they will, hence what has been seen today and at rovers home games this season(en masse!).
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2012 Backroom Posted January 28, 2012 Source, Tom? I was under the impression that was just a twitter rumour. It may be I don't know for sure sorry, I'll add an 'allegedly'
John Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Liverpool fans have been a complete disgrace this season.
rigger Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Liverpool fans have been a complete disgrace this season. I have been an active football supporter for over forty years and Liverpool fans have always been a disgrace, in my opinion!
John Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Wonder if the ex Liverpool players, within the media, will speak out as loudly as they did over the Kean Out chants.
Stuart Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Wonder if the ex Liverpool players, within the media, will speak out as loudly as they did over the Kean Out chants. For some reason, I now have a mental image of Phil Thompson shifting uneasily in his chair, saying "It's understandable..."

The general feeling at the moment will be that Liverpools fans are bad but Blackburn are worse. It's amazing how much influence the media have At the moment? We didn't have the ability to win over the press when we were the plucky underdog fighting above their weight that nobody (bar the Dingles) disliked, an example of how to run a football club and the reputation as some of the least troublesome travelling fans, let alone when things have gone seriously wrong at the club and the fans are revolting. If we don't have the PR power to pull off an easy win, they're sure as hell not going to turn things around now.

There are also plenty of moronic idiots who sit in silence with their heads buried in the sand and politely clap whilst their club tumbles into the abyss
Elvis McSmithy Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 There are also plenty of moronic idiots who sit in silence with their heads buried in the sand and politely clap whilst their club tumbles into the abyss I do apologize sir, your completely right i see that now, your only a real caring brfc fan if you jump about shouting nasty abusive comments at a geezer just trying to do his job or owners that are not presant(or interested), i get it and i am sorry. im not defending kean as a manager or the owners, keans not up to the job and the venkys are in hiding(along with their promised dough), just dont see how getting nasty about it is going to do anything other than antagonize them into doing and saying nothing(which is now the case). sorry mods you do a good job(well most of you) but these forums have really gone down hill the last month or so, its official now their is no room on this forum for an opposing view anymore(unless you want to be targeted for personal abuse)which kinda defeats the purpose of a forum, .
OJRovers Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Elvis, it's obvious you are against the Kean-out Venkys-out protests, so what do you suggest the Rovers fans do? Happy clap whilst we are sliding into the abyss? You can hold a different opinion but non-one has yet come up with any valid suggestions as to how being nice (as opposed to nasty) to the owners will achieve anything other than speeding up the demise of the club
Elvis McSmithy Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 im not against anything, i understand and initially supported the protests, my issue is with the people that cant see the diferance between protesting and just being blatently abusive, im no pc do gooder, but a few hundred people hatefully chanting we hate steve kean and worst crosses a line, most of those fans wouldnt have the balls to say those things to his face 1 on 1 now would they, this kind of protesting just aint english its stone cold hatefull and without any humour or irony.
sentient Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 these forums have really gone down hill the last month or so I'm surprised you're able to judge snce you've only been a mb member for 2 months! Nevertheless, I agree witth you completely. Never did like that hicksville ditty-fest.

SAS Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 Yeah, but Hillsborough and stuff. And Heysel
Daniel Louis Grabko (Dan) Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Dalglish actually came out and applauded the Liverpool supporters' behavior, believe it or not, saying that they did themselves proud. Wow...just wow... and it will be dismissed as a few supporters not representing the whole or some such crap that can only be gotten away with by a media favorite club. I would say top four club, but well you know they aren't that anymore...
