Modeste is an improved version of Roberts in everything but finishing. That's three good chances he's had tonight, all poor efforts. Aside from that he's a real handful.

Take off one of your best performers so far? He's worked hard, got in good positions and we've nearly scored from at least three of set pieces.

Fed up of seeing Petrovic hit in the air, he needs to come off. Crowd getting on his back now too, he's having a nightmare.

We've had 20 shots (including 9 on target) to 7. It can't be entirely that the players are poor surely?

It can and it is. A team of absolute dross. Not good enough for this division.

I've just worked out what this is.

This is luck evening itself it for the Liverpool and Man Utd games. Our goal lived the same charmed life that the Newcastle one has.

Edit: Haven't seen Rochina for ages. I forgot how rubbish he was. I was starting to believe the hype people were giving him on here. He just runs into dead ends and loses it every single time.

Haha. No sympathy at all, we're going down.

You won't see many better performances than Collocini's tonight (he says, as he slips). He's been World Class.

Its a combination of poor decision making, poor finishing and a clueless idiot in charge. Plus dann and modeste are terrible. Absolutely ###### poor.

ANOTHER home loss. Talk about luck all you want... we were absolutely pathetic in front of goal this evening. Guess that's what happens when your only reserve strikers are a fat, unfit Scotsman, a random reserve from a French club and a kid from Sheffield United. Venky's Champions League strike force.

We can talk about "deserving" to win/draw/whatever... you deserve to get points if you put the ball in the back of the net. Miss a penalty and 20+ chances and you get what you deserve.

Genuinely can't wait until this season ends. Hate supporting this club at the moment.

Btw, I said some time ago Newcastle would make it 2-0 :)

Today not scoring today is down to having no luck at all, but luck evens out during the course of a season!

We surely are the most badly organized team that has EVER graced the top division in English football history!
