We were all over them until Ben Arfa was taken off, and SK didn't respond. Newcastle looked a lot more solid once Perch came one. Petrovic had a poor second half but for some reason didn't come off until the 70th minute!?

As someone already said, you only deserve to win if you can put away your chances. Poor finishing yet again.

One thing that pisses me off is that when the likes of Gutierrez shoot from 30+ yards you expect them to hit the target at least. We have the likes of N'Zonzi fluffing them high and wide...

dont no how anyone can moan, we were easily the better team just couldn't finish today.

Easily the better team, yet can't defend for toffee? That doesn't constitute being the better team in my eyes.

As per usual we have to score 3 to win, you simply cannot play that way and expect to stay up.

this ladies and gents is exactly why we are going down, modeste looking even worse than biram diouf an goodwillie hes had so many chances yakubu would have gobbled them all including that penalty

at least coco can tell the stupid owners we had 27 goal attempts, fact is we didn't really look like scoring on any of them

OMG!!! I HATE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

Modeste definatly replaces Roberts. Awful Finishing he had plenty of chances and fluffed them all.

Thought most of the team played well apart from petrovic, dunn and Hoilett Hardly noticed them at all exxpect much more especially from dunn and hoilett.

This match showed hoe important samba and Yakubu are, and another step towards relegation.

IM SICK OF NEWCASTLE!!

I don't care how well we played, we've lost yet again.

I say it every time, but I'd rather we were playing Wimbledon-style hoofball and winning matches.

Awful penalty by Dunn in the first half and awful finishing by Modeste throughout.

There's been several instances where we've played well and still conceded goals like nobody's business and lost the game. A sign of a poor team/dreadful manager.

Key moment was the penalty miss. We can only keep up the pressure for so long. Modeste disappointing finishing, kept snatching at the chances - but with limited finances what can we expect? Another game, another nail in the coffin of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. It has almost come to the point where I have to consider whether to stop watching games as it is too devastating to watch.

The feed I had said 50% possession first half and 59% second half. Shows how much we miss yak, annoyingly if we'd held out for a draw in the FA cup away game he would have served his ban by now.

Modeste had some nice touches but terrible decision making.

I'm not having a go at Kean tonight. He set the team up well. We played well but just couldn't put our chances away.

DOWN AND OUT. Who are those 24 mugs on here who want to give Coco more time.........it's too late, wake up and smell the sh!t.

He can only do so much.

Yes, he is a yes man but he's getting no financial backing from the owners. Big Sam would have kept us up, but he would also have walked out of this shambles a long time ago. This is bigger than Kean.

You don't need to, Ricky. "Set the team up well" and still lost 2-0. That's our Keano!

Come on. The effort was there, just missed shots on goals. Rovers had over 20 chances. Rovers were unlucky tonight.

I am happy to blame kean when he is responcable. He was not tonight. Players should have put chances away.

Never thought I'd say this when we bought him but we massively missed Yakubu tonight. You've got to hand it to Kean though for replacing Jason Roberts with an ideal replacement, Modeste another player that is a 'handful' but useless when it comes to actually putting the chances away. What the hell was he doing when he was through clear of goal and decided to snatch at it with his left? Krul even gave him two relatively simple chances by vacating his goal for Modeste on two occasions and he couldn't even get it on target in either case.

It's games like tonight that will see us relegated.

Pafell, this has gone far beyond one game and you know it.

This result simply encapsulates Kean's tenure as "manager". A disorganized, toothless shambles, that even when on top still manages to gift-wrap three points to the visitors. How's that for "responcable"?
