Any questions raised will be answered.

Great interview. Ian came across as very articulate and clear headed. However, afterwards, I was still unsure as to just what Ian's position was on one particular crucial issue. So my question for Ian is -

Would he sack Kean now or would he give him more time ?

In the podcast, Ian makes it clear that he believes we need a change of owners now. However, it is not clear if he thinks we need a change of manager as well.

Many people who have called for Kean to be replaced have come to the conclusion that Kean is just a symptom of a bigger problem which is Venky's ownership of the club. Hence the focus has turned to the need to get Venky's to sell the club in the belief that new owners would inevitably mean a new manager. Is that belief well founded ?

So is the criticism of Kean unfair ? Ian says we must take into account these mitigating factors -

the unsustainable monthly trips to Pune;

the absence of a functioning Board in Blackburn with delegated authority from India to support him;

in addition to his duties as team manager Kean finds himself having to act in part as de facto head of business for a Venky's subsidiary, the Blackburn factory farm;

little money to spend on transfers leading to substandard acquisitions.

The question is - even taking into account all these factors, is Kean so poor a manager that he should be replaced ?

Ian believes we need a change of ownership as "Venky's will never really be accepted in the eyes of the Blackburn fans and the Blackburn public again". Does this not also apply to Kean ?

That's easy to answer. Absolutely no chance kean will be manager if battersby takes over.

Part me of would love to see Kean's face once the club was taken over.

...Then I remembered the £££ he'd be due if he was sacked. Win/Win either way for the jammy bugger.

Winston I urge you to look at yesterdays shambles and then ask yourself whether he deserves more time?.

To be honest with you I think I say this on behalf of 99% of supporters. I would have given Kean the benefit of the doubt and let him take charge of this season,but if it was me he would have been dispensed of after the Wolves game,and most sane owners would probably have got rid of him then but we are not dealing with sane people here. :rolleyes:

I have, at last had the chance to listen to the podcast 23.

Very good and very imformative.

These podcasts are very good and an excellent idea. But need to be got out to the wider rovers supporters. Not just those on this site. How is another question.

You seem to have lots of questions PA Fell but not too many answers. Or anything constructive for that matter.
