See...totally unfair comparison. Where did you stand on Ribeiro?

has not done anything so far not sure if he will

Ok a lower league plodder.

It's not comparable, we didn't know a thing about Nelsen, whilst I've seen Bradley Orr on many occassions over the years- lower league plodder.

I didn't know a thing about Nelsen , Ive not seen much of him what i have saw seams OK.

i guess the qpr manager is bringing in his own men..

I know this will be a cheap signing but honestly I do not think I've witnessed a more uninspiring one for Rovers in the last decade (I know we've had some shockers in the past few seasons; Andrews, Bruno etc). QPR fans all think he's pretty naff, Bristol City fans think he's suspect, whenever I've seen him he;s offered nothing and we have Lowe and Henley who can both play there and have looked fairly decent.

I'm not saying we shouldn't be in for a right back (one with PL pedigree), but certainly not some Championship standard one who most probably won't add anything. QPR probably want him to come to us to help take us closer to the trap door!

man, lowes position is centre mid. Have you seen him play there much? Orr is a solid right-back, maybe he's cover for lowe? Not Keans fault Venkys haven't backed him this window....

No it might not be, but why on earth does kean continue to peddle their lies!! Wake up and smell the coffee!! Quote " we are going to do our business early this window " So @ 10 am on the last day ??

For what it's worth, my housemate is a Bristol City season ticket holder and he has told me that Orr had very good work effort and commitment whilst being decent defensively. However, apparently his distribution is very poor and his attacking play is crap.

I'm fairly neutral on this one. Not excited by it by any means but willing to wait until I actually see him in action before making a verdict on him. We have seen it before where a player has been naff for one team but decent for his next team and I am sure we will see it again, so lets hope we see that with Bradley.

Complete waste of cash, as Lowe is already a capable right back, and the very promising Henley can play there as well. Lowe hasn't impressed in midfield, however he has been solid for us at the back. Getting Orr in as starting RB and moving Lowe to the centre of the midfield will actually weaken our team.

Horrible signing. Flogging/trying to flog Formica to fund the signing of Bradley Orr - effin hell.

I'm confused about this too when we have Lowe and Henely who are decent there.

I suppose the one thing we have to cling onto is that he was signed by QPR as a player to ge tthem promoted after a seaon where he was in th Championship team of the year. So maybe he does have some quality hidden away.

QPR fans seem to think that Kyle Walker on loan was more important to their promotion success than Orr.

Orr will be 30 later this year.

This will just be another 30+ on our books on a 3 year contract.

Surely someone has to challenge Kean over the signing of Bruno on a 3yr+ deal??

As someone said further up, I would rather keep Andrews as cover for RB/Midfield

I actually think the summer transfer window before the 2010/2011 season was the worst we've ever had. only benjani came in during that window and big sam couldn't flog roberts to wigan on deadline day. all pretty depressing.

Not keen on orr, if he can't get in QPR's team during the first half of the season then its not good news.

How's that work?

The bloke is a 29 year old lower league journeyman, not an unknown centre half from the MLS.

give him a chance eh ? how many people wrote off the Yak (myself included) as a horrendous signing on D-Day o fthe last window?.............. and he has been a sensation thus far. At Least give the lad a chance to prove his worth rather than discount him already.

Welcome to the club Mr Orr. You might want to ask Mr Andrews for a few coping strategies on his way out the door. Because i do believe you're about to take his title as 'Club Fall Guy'. You don't stand a chance mate. Its over before it has even started. And you can blame Steve Kean and Venky's for ruining what is left of your career.

Why on earth is this guy being compared to Andrews' status? He's been a rovers player for minutes. Honestly.....

wrong age never to have been top flight signed from lower division(the fact qpr have been premiership for 5 minutes and he has'nt been involved really does mean he is a lower league journeyman) by a clueless and plain useless manager.

Really don't have a clue why comparisons would be drawn

The same manager that didn't play Buzsaky, who has arguably been QPR's best player under Hughes at the mighty age of 29 having joined from the huge Plymouth Argyle

Andrews came from a lower league than Orr however its more the attitude i'm hinting at.

Andrews didnt have the best of times here yet the stick he got from the supporters was unjustified. It is even more unjustifiable to write off Orr now though as he's only been here for hours! He's not even played a game yet.

Are you seriously suggesting that decent players can't be found lurking as bit part players for their clubs? Charlie Adam was outcast at rangers when blackpool signed him. Just an example and not the same but I'm just making a point
