47er Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 When I first saw the title of the thread - I presumed you were asking who was spreading the lies that everyone of the saleable assets (Nzonzi, Samba, Hoilett and Olsson) would be sold off to pay the bank before we went into administration. Its interesting. If Venkys can't afford to run the club successfully and the banks are on their backs-------how come they resisted all bids for Samba? If they can afford to run us successfully---------why don't they? I confess I don't have the answer.
Devon Rover Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 and you are all sure Kean was promised money? Kean is a little sh1t I think he was buying time with the press, an excuse "we lost to Bolton and are bottom but its because of injuries and I'll buy 4 players in Jan". Has Kean come out and questioned Venkys on anything..........no? Has he made comments this window such as "Venkys/owners have proven how wonderful and great they are over the Samba situations", pretty much. Kean will never be sacked because he is the perfect liar for in a club built on lies. we all know sooner or later the house built on the sand will fall down. The topic should be changed from "who is lying, to who isn't lying" Probably only Samba, but even Kean has turned this into we want Samba to be part of what we are trying to do here. Yet samba can see all wew are doing is drowning. Good post, answers the thread title question accurately enough.
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2012 Backroom Posted January 31, 2012 and you have their autograph haha No I don't
Andy Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 It seems that the only thing Kean is competent at is lying.
thenodrog Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 No I don't Surely no one came back from Pune with any Venky autographs did they Tom?
Steve Moss Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I wish he would walk but I would suggest most people wouldn't, his main loyalty lies with his family not his employer at the end of the day. Venkys are the main culprit with Kean and others not too far behind I suspect his main loyalty lies with himself. Everything else is secondary.
ROVERS Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 We are doom.......... if not this season, next season would be just as bad. Freaking clowns, aren't they disgrace of themselves!?
Brfcrule1 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I suspect it is a bit of both in terms of the liesbecause from the day the window opened it is no coincidence that no-one not even the manager knew what the budget was but I suspect Kean has been badly let down in terms of finances and any self respecting manager would have left this shambles a long time ago these clowns are a disgrace.
RoversSG Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Why would Kean speak out even if he's been lied to? If he speaks out and get sack, he'll just get compensation (aka pay) for the 2 years on his contract, if he keeps quiet, he might just stay in the job for life.
purplegrover Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The transfer window came and went. The usual lies and bulls1ht were spread about by our esteemed manager and owners. Nothing happened. We bought no-one of note. We're still in the same pickle we were before the transfer window - except now we have to try and survive with our best players disinterested and disillusioned. The surprising thing to me is...after everything we have seen over the past 18 months...that anyone is actually surprised about this !!!
OJRovers Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Kean is the classic puppet on a string for the owners. They are most to blame, but Kean is not blameless, a proper person/manager wouldn't be part of it.
LDRover Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I thought (according to Kean in LT) Nelsen had gone back to NZ for specialist treatment on a long standing injury 2 weeks ago?? Assuming he's passed a medical at Spurs, more bare faced lies from the bald puppet. I f###in hate the bloke.
Jimmy612 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I thought (according to Kean in LT) Nelsen had gone back to NZ for specialist treatment on a long standing injury 2 weeks ago?? Assuming he's passed a medical at Spurs, more bare faced lies from the bald puppet. I f###in hate the bloke. Certainly would appear that Nelsen is fit and ready or else there is no way Tottenham would take him on, especially seeing as they let Bassong clear off as soon as they had tied up Nelsen. Undoubtedly only providing cover and is a way down in the pecking order but this transfer still shows me that Nelsen was probably not injured at all.... Have to wonder whether Nelsen had fallen out with Kean... they certainly looked matey enough at Wolves away end of last season?? Strange
Ripleys love child Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Maybe nelsen was the backstabber who tried to oust kean?

Assuming he's passed a medical at Spurs, more bare faced lies from the bald puppet. I f###in hate the bloke. I was fuming when I heard the Nelson rumours last night, Keans been telling us all that Ryans injured, but in fact I was told over the Christmas break that Nelson was fit and ready to play, but had fallen out with Kean and was being frozen out. So that’s another porkie from Kean, to go alongside the Salgado ‘injury’ – As a fellow poster just said to me “The man lies every time his lips move” Disgusting.
Guest Rovers4Good Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Kean is a born bu*******er and you had a sense of what was to come when he failed a roadside breath test and he said he'd only had one then he said his drink was spiked bla bla. You can tell when he's lying as he opens his mouth.

Kean lies.....and gets away with it. If he is called out and rarely the people know he is lying have the balls to expose him face to face (e.g. Andy Cryers), Kean will defnd his lies with more lies, new lies and almost stun you "tell me he didn't just say that". Most the time Kean will ignore facts or critism. I think a good example was Jack Straw, LT and Gallacher all saying Kean has to go, Kean actually discredited these highly respected names and said he got 20 phone calls backing him from manager, not only that these managers told him he is doing a fantastic job. I think what we all what to know and will find out is: How far is Kean willing to go, how much bigger can the lies get? will it ever end? Most likely Blackburn will have to go into ruins to get these diseases out and start again from scratch maybe in championship/league 1. I'm embarrassed to see that Kean is just the Hermann Göring in this operation and although important, he is not incharge, Venkys are, so who does that make them in my nazi comparsion haha.Bring down Venkys is the only way this nightmare will be over.

If that is true then Kean is/Has undoubtedly lost us points since Christmas, as a fit Nelson would certainly have helped Samba when Givet was ill, beggars belief that Kean one can systematically destroy the team and no one says a thing. :angry2:

Not only that but Kean acually named Nelsen as one of his key players injured at the time of the worst injury crisis in history. Despicable excuse for a human being.
thenodrog Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 "WHO IS LYING TO WHO?". Should the final word be who or whom? Discuss.
booth Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Need I remind anyone of this, probably not... http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/9229678.You_can_judge_us_now__says_Kean/
RoyRover Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The owners lied whenever they first bought the club saying that they would inject funds into the club to buy players during the transfer windows. Kean, probably believed them at the time and said the same thing. Since then, both parties have been in on the act and know what's going on behind the scenes and realise that if they were to admit to the true state of the club, it would look bad for them and confirm the fans worst suspicions. So it's easier to keep lying. Steve Kean knew at the start of January that we had no money to spend and in fact we were looking to offload players. He spouted some nonsense about how we were looking to bring some quality, experienced Premiership players into the side. More lies. We've done the exact opposite. The one player who has Premiership experience in our transfer dealings is Ryan Nelsen and he's been let go. If Ryan Nelsen was indeed fit to play over Christmas and Steve Kean just wasn't picking him because of a falling out and not an injury, it's just more lies. The guy and the owners are just pathological liars. I don't believe a word they say. For some reason the press don't call him out. A prime example would be the situation with Jason Roberts and Michael Salgado. He said they were injured so weren't playing and they were letting Salgado look for a new team "to be fair to him." Whatever that meant! Both guys said (Roberts on 5 Live and Salgado in the LET) that they weren't injured, just that they weren't getting picked because of their contract situation. Not one person questions Steve Kean on this blatant lie.
brave_rich Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Its a win-win-win situation for Kean.. and he is probably the only one who is benefited no matter what happens with the club, fans or even the owners. Situation 1 (Most Realistic) -> Rovers get relegated, Kean (and SEM) makes some money by offloading players.. Kean stay put to drag us down to Antartica and keep earning a decent salary for that. Situation 2 (Possible) -> Rovers manages to stay in Premier League. Kean hailed as hero by dumb pundits and gets a manager job elsewhere. Venky's appoint Pamela Anderson as the new manager for next season. Situation 3 (unrealistic) -> Venky's fire and payout Kean. Kean to spend rest of his life in his new apartment in Monaco (next to the one owned by 'Arry Redknapp's dog.) Situation 4 (Only in dream) -> An insane billionaire appears from nowhere and buy Rovers.. send Kean and Venky's to the chicken farm.. Appoint someone like David O'leary and bring back John Williams... club and fans live happily ever after. Rovers are doomed.... unless some miracle happens.
