On Look North tonight we meet 8 year old Lily Lawson from Cleckheaton. She's football crazy and has just been signed up by Blackburn Rovers after scoring 70 GOALS in 14 games. Ian White's been to see her and she'll be talking to Harry & Tanya in the studio. BBC One 6.30pm

Rovers current record goal scorer, Katie Anderton has 183 goals, so no doubt Lily will be chasing that record in about 9-10 years time.

I once scored 10 goals over 3 games in a tournament when I was 8.

I don't play professional football for a living.

As more and more girls get involved in football, it's inevitable that the quality will improve and eventually attract bigger sponsorship and a wider audience. By the time she's 18 it could be a different football world.
