Hughesy
A tough loss to take, a soft deflected goal, a missed penalty, Givet hitting the bar, Rovers missing chance after chance and having 26 shots at goal, only for NZonzi to give the ball away in the 92nd minute to make it 2-0 Newcastle. Who was your Man of the Match? Modeste for his tireless work and hold up play & chance creating? Givet who always works hard? Or someone else? james_rox
Modeste's finishing means I wont be awarding it to him. Hoilett for me today bar the disgraceful dive.
Hughesy
Dunn the penalty misser currently joint in the lead...suprised at that - poor penalty. Iv voted Modeste - thought he worked hard, held the ball up well and his link up play was excellent. His shooting was rash, however the one when clean through I think he thought he was offside (which he was but not given). He also won the penalty. Puffsan
think pedersen and dunn played really well today aswell as givet who were really good in newcastle's box. I voted Pedersen. He had some game winning passes today, too bad noone followed up and scored

Andy
I've actually gone with Jason Lowe, as I thought he had a very good game and looked pretty much at home at RB. Dunn did well overall but his penalty was awful and about as 'savable' as you can realistically make it for any 'keeper. Modeste was also good, but his composure is poor and showed greed in situations where he could have rolled the ball to a better placed colleague. Hughesy
I thought apart from lots of tracking back, Pedersen offered very little.....he also smashed a good chance from a free-kick high over the bar!
roversmum
Givet was awesome. The man popped up everywhere. My MOM.
LeChuck
I've actually gone with Jason Lowe, as I thought he had a very good game and looked pretty much at home at RB. Givet was awesome. The man popped up everywhere. My MOM. I didn't vote either MOM, but I agree with both comments about these two playing well (both were in my mind when voting). I actually voted Olsson, he provided excellent width down that left side and was really solid and calm at the back. I hope he has an injury free run in the team. I think those three are excellent in those positions, almost all of our best team performances have come with them playing in those positions. The weak link is Scott Dann at the moment, hopefully Kean will relent and put Samba in soon. I thought apart from lots of tracking back, Pedersen offered very little.....he also smashed a good chance from a free-kick high over the bar! Apart from the four clear-cut chances that he created you mean?
