Eh? Portsmouth's gates are around half of what they used to be, Norwich have an enormous catchment area, City? Behave yourself.

We are a club from a small town, 5000 people stop going, there is nobody to replace them, unlike clubs from big cities like Manchester.

Again your showing shortsightedness to the issue at hand. The reason fans are going or support is slipping is not down to the results. Its down to the sh*t-storm the club is currently engulfed in. Poor results are a bi-product of this.

I don't think Norwich ever came close to going through whats going on at Rovers.

I can accept supporting a team that goes down, i've done it before but i can't accept a team owned and run by Venkey's. Thats the difference.

I've supported Blackburn under managers I didn't like Kidd, Hodgson, Ince for example.

Have it your way and refuse to understand why I have pulled away from Blackburn.

But when I was 7 in 1990 my dad moved out of Blackburn and I was the only person in my town supporting a Div 2 team surrounded by glory hunting Man U, Liverpool and Spurs.

Being a 7 year old and taking stick for supporting a ###### div 2 team like Blackburn and being alone, that what makes me a Rovers fan.

I'm not having a go mate, if your happy to continue to support the club as you always have under the current regime & circumstances then work away. I've got no issue with that but allow other people the right to decide whether they want to support the club they way they used too also.

He's our best defender and we need him in the team if we are to stand any chance of staying up. He should get on with it, play and train to the best of his ability, earn the massive wage he is paid and get the big move in the summer.

HOWEVER, if he says that he is fit and willing to play, then this puts a totally different spin on it. We have already seen how that lie sack of dog sh!t Kean has told us how Salgado, Roberts and Nelsen were all injured and unable to play. These storeis have been shown to be lies, so if the story coming out of Rovers is that he is refusing to play, then I would have major doubts about it being true.

Samba publicly stated that he wanted out and openly criticised the owners and the dogs dinner that is Blackburn Rovers. This will not have gone down well on the chicken farm and they could well be making the decision on whether or not he plays.

This is how many, many supporters feel, because simply, as one poster has said, it no longer feels like our club.

These are not 'fair weather' supporters but supporters, in some cases, who have followed Rovers way before you were even born.

Not all Rovers' supporters are as blinkered, naive and gullible as some, so I would therefore be very careful who you are telling to fook off and perhaps reserve your comments for the deserving, one of whom you were fawning all over in the August window.

In my own case I feel absolutely no connection any more with Venkys Rovers ( it is no longer Blackburn Rovers) and I will not waste my valuable time and considerable expense in spending a 15 hr day travelling down and back to watch a team owned and "managed" by cretins.

This is quite simply the worst crisis that has EVER happened to BRFC, and even after living through all that has happened to my beloved club since the very first season after WW2 (1946) and NEVER before giving up om them in all that time, I now cannot be bothered to attend. Yes even though I still hold my S/T for the JW upper and I wont be asking for a refund, It will not be getting renewed again for next season if the Venkys are still involved.

There is, as yet, no confirmation that Samba has refused to play. Both the LET and the Mail report that he did not play for the reserves yesterday but do not give the reason. What we do know is that when asked why Samba did not play against Arsenal and Newcastle, Kean denied that Samba had refused to play and admitted that he was in fact available. Kean confirmed that it was his decision not to play Samba.

The nearest I can find as a direct quote (which has been cleverly paraphrased) are comments referring to "the club". Which I interpret as Venky's club.

From my personal experience - watching him - I can say that I've never seen him give less than 100% on the field.

I still maintain that Samba is being made into (or being allowed to be made into) a bogey man by "the club" as a means of distracting us (again) from the real problem.

Prior to the window closing the Club were completely correct to tell Samba he wasn't going anywhere. Players in general and Samba in particularly last January are all too happy to sign new contracts to get more money in, but still expect to be allowed to leave at the drop of a hat when it suits them. It can't work both ways. Why should we have to sell Samba to QPR for a paltry 5m because he wants to go?

Now the window has closed, regardless of what has been said, and Samba has said some very silly things indeed, he needs to be back in the side asap, especially with Givet suspended.

fine, it doesn't make a difference, we are f***ed under Venkys, you hold on to that hope but even if we stay up, it will be another season or torture, protests and suffering. Thats our future (oh wait you point out I said blackburn doesn't exist under Venkys, I get it)

This is exactly why you are how you are, you think the club is bigger then owners manager, but it's not at this moment, they have control they can/will destory years of hard work, they are the face, Blackburn Rovers is the titantic and Venkys and Kean are in charge of the ship.
