Said I'd take a 3-0, it was damage limitation from the start, the annoying thing is 2 of the goals were our own mistakes.

Never in doubt it looked like a game we wanted out of the way to move onto next week in honesty.

The only slight positive for me is that Marcus Olsson looks like he could be a proper winger when we actually play to attack.

On paper 3-0 is not a bad result against City, unfortunately it will gloss over the completely inept performance. Somebody mentioned earlier no leadership on the pitch , hence no leadership full stop because standing on the touchline looking completely clueless, chewing gum with your hands in your pockets for 90 minutes does not a manager make

Hmmm... How exactly is Kean going to talk his way out of this one? He can't blame it on injuries. He's sold most of the so-called absentees. Hmmmm... I'm sure whatever it is the media will lap it up. They care more about his sorry ass than the state of our once proud club.

I think it's all the fault of the Rovers fans. Don't you?

City treated that as a training session and rarely played at full throttle. 3 points and +3 added to their GD was enough for them without breaking sweat.

Orr and Petrovic are in competition for the worst Rovers player I've ever seen although today Hoilett and Formica ran them close. Garbage.

That performance cannot be defended. I would rather us beat by 5 and have gone down with a fight. To say 3-0 isnt to bad against city is a kop out. A team defeated before they go out on the pitch is a disgrace. Let no one be under any illusion, that is what happened today.

I expected QPR to win at home today and us to get battered, only one of these happened and only due to Wolves getting a point are we in a slightly worse position tonight after having the toughest game of all our rivals.

Agreed. It's all about results and goal diff now, and this weekend has gone almost as good as we could have hoped. Plus no-one got injured.

Woeful. But all round not a bad day for rovers. QPR and Wigan both had winnable games yet neither won, us and Bolton expected to lose, and wolves had the standard new manager lift.

The real issue still remains the owners and investment in the team. Our problems aren't solved by staying up. We will continue to get weaker and weaker until venkys are gone.

Kebab?

Thats my plan.

I'm normally as angry as the next man after a loss but tonight I just don't feel any, maybe the apathy has set in, will save me a lot of stress anyway!

We're lucky to still be in with a shot of staying up and it is actually a very good shot. These players have everything against them including their manager. I feel sorry for the players and the fans right now. Luckily for us 8 of our last 12 games are winnable!

H Aston Villa

A Wolves

H Sunderland

A Bolton

A WBA

A Swansea City

H Norwich City

H Wigan Athletic

Hyperbole in 3...2...1...

Fair enough, the league position is not particulary any worse.

But there will be no 'hyperbole' from anyone that watched that game. That was utter, utter ###### from start to finish. How else can you dress it up? 87 (EIGHTY SEVEN) per cent possession is something I have NEVER seen before, not from Barca against some spanish minnow, not from a non league side at a PL club, never.

It was an insult to us al and if you are not ashamed, it just shows what 15 months of Venky's have done to expectations levels.
