yes but they probably put up a fight

Fat Sam would have given up or put out a dodgy team. Bottom line we have to beat our relegation rivals and hope they don't get on a run . We might as well support our manager, we sure are not going to get another one. Wolves are well respected and nobody will go near them.

We're lucky to still be in with a shot of staying up and it is actually a very good shot. These players have everything against them including their manager. I feel sorry for the players and the fans right now. Luckily for us 8 of our last 12 games are winnable!

H Aston Villa

A Wolves

H Sunderland

A Bolton

A WBA

A Swansea City

H Norwich City

H Wigan Athletic

yeh but I'm pretty sure we didn't win any of them last time around! (not including Swansea)

Long gone are the Sparky days when more often than not teams in the league that played Rovers knew they were in for a game and they would have to earn those points. Under Kean there is no organisation, no fight and no spirit.

It could have easily been 6 or 7, it was only because of Robbo's performance especially in the first half and City deciding not to go up a gear or two that we didn't get spanked. When Rovers play defensive they still let in at least 3 goals, if we go down it will be the lack of clean sheets that will cost us our place in this league.

Like Bryan said earlier even if we somehow manage to stay up it will be more of the same next season and every season thereafter until we finally can't dodge that bullet.

Fair enough, the league position is not particulary any worse.

But there will be no 'hyperbole' from anyone that watched that game. That was utter, utter ###### from start to finish. How else can you dress it up? 87 (EIGHTY SEVEN) per cent possession is something I have NEVER seen before, not from Barca against some spanish minnow, not from a non league side at a PL club, never.

It was an insult to us al and if you are not ashamed, it just shows what 15 months of Venky's have done to expectations levels.

I edited that part out as I don't want to start conflict or whatever but you are right, I expected worse though.

It's just after every bad game you can guarantee someone will say its the worst they have ever seen us in x years watching the club.

tom but this is one of if not the worst performances i have seen from a rovers team in years, arsenal being the other!!!

Fair enough but I have seen it said in these 2 games, the 7-1 at United, the loss to Bolton, the 0-0 with West Ham, the 1-1 with West Ham, the loss to Stoke, the other loss to Stoke etc etc

Plus we had 100% of our shots on target thats a brilliant stat right there.

Sorry mate but not me....I have been reasonably low key on this site but when he threw the wife an kids not feeling safe card into the equation just to take the spotlight off him selling Samba...well!

I thought christian dailly and Darren peacock were rank bad defenders and would never see such ###### again but dann and orr could be worst players I’ve ever seen. Oh wait there’s pertovic.

This is what you get when you let the likes if nelsen, samba, emerton, etc leave and replace them with orr, dann (sure his reputation has come from people mistaking him for roger johnson), brother of olsson, petrovic, ribeiro, modest by name and nature, slew, Anderson, none of whom inc rochina and formica are prem players or not the type of player we need to be competitive, not even win just compete for 5 mins.

Wolves fans think they’ve got it bad with their number 2 try having your number 3 for 50 odd games winning 10ish. A man who as well as being incompotent is also deluded, arrogant, and an utter turd.

This is a never ending hell.

Said I'd take a 3-0, it was damage limitation from the start, the annoying thing is 2 of the goals were our own mistakes.

Never in doubt it looked like a game we wanted out of the way to move onto next week in honesty.

The only slight positive for me is that Marcus Olsson looks like he could be a proper winger when we actually play to attack.

Is that sarcastic or you would settle for a defeat?

Well I'm glad I spent a couple of hours watching a Man City training session. That was what was on Sky Sports 2 yeah? So when does the competitive match start?

Seriously, that was sad to watch. I don't mind getting beaten by the top teams but to not even force a 'save' until injury time, to concede the vast majority of possession for the whole game and to look so completely bereft of attacking ideas is hard to take.

In honesty, I think Man City had a bit of an off-day. If they had been on song that could and should have been 6 or 7.

For those saying that we have a run of winnable games coming up- I would like to agree but unfortunately most of our opponents will be looking at the fixture against us and thinking exactly the same thing- and with more reason to do so.

We were the lucky ones tonight, City had a stroll in the Etihad park, 2nd goal accepted Robbo was man of the match, if he'd not saved the one after 1m 20s it could have been murder. We got away with it tonight - March is crucial, but stats don't lie, still no clean sheets, no back to back wins, just why do Venkys want us......Peds was pants, but he won't drop him, he paid for and plays Petrovic who just doesn't seem to have any talent whatsoever - even a supposedly ill N'Zonzi looked miles ahead of him. God help us if we don't win next week, Venkys fook off! (and take Stevie, I could have been a Celtic player, with you)

I don't think there was ever anything but a defeat on the cards and I feared it would have been over 5, so pre game I thought 3-0 would have been relatively OK considering.

Not that it makes any difference at all.

how you can ever mention Sam Allardyce in a negative sense now is unbelievable! Where were we in the league when Sam was sacked? Get a grip mate. I will never support Steve Kean, he no longer exists to me! I just completely ignore him.

Never. Lack of an alternative is not a reason to back Kean now.

And after everything that has gone on...

Please tell me what 'supporting' Kean is going to achieve? Please, I'd be fascinated to know.

Take your head out of the sand and realize we're well and truly ******, and that's including if we survive this season.

If I hadn't seen the game and saw that we had lost 3-0 it wouldn't have surprised me. However, I did see the game and that was utter bile for 90 minutes for our team. I don't think we strung 5 passes together in the whole game. Yes Man City are a very good team, with some unreal players, but for our players to play like that is not right. As someone else said, I don't think I've ever seen a stat of 87% possession to one team! Steve Kean will gloss this one up as a game where we worked hard to contain them, but their quality told in the end and the media will buy it because it's Man City away and Steve Kean is 'dignified'.
