philipl
Wolves and Bolton are must not lose. We are down if we don't get at least 5 points from these three games. If we win all three we really give ourselves a chance.

Waggy76
Now is the time of the season ,when the players have to stand up and be counted !!!! Unfortunately cannot see any of ours doing it , we have no winners in the team anymore . 1 point in a 0-0 against Villa this weekend , .0-0 only because Villa didn't try and attack.. Defeats at Bolton and Wolves , they will be waiting for us and will have targetted the game some weeks ago ... Kean with his collection of championship and 1st division players will be like rabbits in the headlights ... Oh I wish for Samba ,Nelsen , Salgado ,Diouf and even Roberts , Andrews and Emerton ..In those two away games ,but Stevie knows best !
Stuart
When we are relegated, we are going to have to listen to the grinning Jim White and smug Charlie Nicholas (amongst others) how, "Rovers fans never gave Kean a chance. Disgraceful". Mark. My. Words.
davulsukur
Sadly Stuart, i think the fans will end up taking the majority of the blame for being relegated. I expect that alot of people pundits, prem managers, ex players, journo's etc will lay the blame at the fans feet. I occasionally flick talksport on in the car on the way home, the other day, they were discussing Wolves appointment of Terry Conner, they talked about fans being careful for what they wished for (as in getting managers sacked or trying to in our case) and reffered to Blackburn fans as a disgrace. They never expanded on that, but IMO when we go down, that will be the tip of the iceberg. It will be difficult to stomach seeing us relegated, have the blamed pinned on us and see Kean walkaway unscathed.
Jarvefromossy
Beat by Villa & the obligatory Heskey goal, draw v Wolves & beaten by Bolton. 1 pt unfortunately though I will take anything more!
nellybc
Now with sunderland at home added for Tuesday 20th March 8pm it makes for 2 massive home games. If we were to get 6 points from them and anything off the other 2 we should be going into april out of the bottom 3. Then again thats like europa league form and we haven't even kept a clean sheet yet!! I must be deluded!!
BeTheBest
I'm feeling optimistic about March and i predict 9 points from the 4 games. All we need to do is score more goals than the opposition.......simples!!!!
rigger
For me 12 points and almost safe.
philipl
The key to march is NOT losing at either Wolves or Bolton.
RibbleValleyRover
V Aston Villa (Home) Sat 3 Mar 15:00 V Wolves (Away) Sat 10 Mar 15:00 V Bolton (Away) Sat 24 Mar 15:00 Villa are better away from home so they will be a tough test at Ewood. Wolves put in a decent spirited fight back against Newcastle when they were 2-0 down and managed to get a draw, I can't see them being a walkover on their patch. Bolton will fancy their chances against us. 0-3 points is what I see from these three fixtures.
DavidMailsTightPerm
V Aston Villa (Home) Sat 3 Mar 15:00 V Wolves (Away) Sat 10 Mar 15:00 V Bolton (Away) Sat 24 Mar To avoid relegation - we need a minimum of 5 pts from those fixtures.
Bobby G
6 minimum needed considering what we need to survive. The key to march is NOT losing at either Wolves or Bolton. So assuming we draw at both of them and lose vs Villa. That's acceptable to you? As opposed to 1 win vs Villa, drawing at one of those two and losing at the other? 47er
A win and a draw--4 points and relegation is my guess.
davulsukur
Kean is unlikely to break his current record of being unable to claim back to back wins, which makes any run in difficult. You also never know which Rovers will turn up these days. The complete no show, like at City and Arsenal or the first half heroes like against QPR. Alot of people might be looking at the Villa game as a good chance for a win, which will probably mean defeat. We will then go on to beat Wolves away but seeing as we cant claim back to back victories we'll get beat by Bolton.
forumquizmaster
I think we'll get 6 points out of the 4 games. The biggest issue for me within that is which of the two games will we win. I have a feeling we'll win the two home games and lose the two away games, which will pretty much leave us in the same position we currently occupy. It would probably be better to lose against Villa and WBA and beat the two Wanderers.
OJRovers
So assuming we draw at both of them and lose vs Villa. That's acceptable to you? As opposed to 1 win vs Villa, drawing at one of those two and losing at the other? I'd take: villa (loss), bolton (draw), Wolves(draw) over Villa(win),bolton(loss),wolves(loss) We'd be better off in the table.
