arbitro
Didn't he say that in October/November when we had a run of six games against the likes of Wigan, Sunderland, Bolton and Swansea and asked the fans to judge him then? We got 6 points from a possible 18. I judged the man a long time ago. The worst and most hated man in Blackburn Rovers long and proud history. Didn't he also say there was 'no chance' we would be relegated. He should be questioned about this in one of his forthcoming press conferences. PAFELL
Events at the club have been disastrous ever since VenKean took over. I fully understand why fans felt and continue to feel the need to protest. I thought our fans were hugely patient before venting their spleen. I would have supported protests after Wigan away last year, or Newcastle, or Blackpool at home. However, the time has passed for making changes that could help. Despite the efforts of many nothing has changed. And nothing will now change before the end of this season. We will either scrape survival, or be relegated. Simple as that. Protesting now is absolutely pointless. It will do neither good, nor harm. It will wear out some shoe leather, voices and people will get wet it if rains. I agree. More so because the fans concerns are already public knowledge in the UK as well as in India. It has been mentioned by MP's, the media all over the place. Nothing is going to happen before this season is finished. Not only that you only have to read this messageboard and the infighting of the various groups trying to build their empires and being the number one group to see they are not welcome by all supporters. Venkys will be laughing their heads off. One way to beat an enemy is divide it first.

Usually you have a Sporting Director,Finance Director I knew this guy came in and after the takeover but what is he a director of anyone have a clue I know there were rumours of him running the club but anyone have any idea what type of director he is? it then states: Meanwhile, Venky's have dismissed reports they are set to sell more key players following defender Christopher Samba's move last week to Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala. "There are no plans like that there, that is ridiculous," said Venky's representative and Blackburn director Vineeth Rao, quoted in the Lancashire Telegraph. Vinny states there are no plans there I thought this joker was based over here in England so why does he state thereit seems very haphazard what is happening and what role this guy plays and whether he is actually based in England or India. then it states: "There are no plans to sell any more key players, why would there be? Our immediate focus is on staying up in the Premier League. "We hope Chris Samba will be the last key departure. There are no plans to sell any more key players because we want to improve the squad." This really does take the biscuit we hope Samba is the last departure surely he knows which players have handed in transfer requests? this statement does not fill me with any confidence about these clowns abilities to run this club after all the lies these jokers have told it's hard to believe what is true and fiction also this guy Vinny Rao is director how did he get the job what qualifications does he have that makes him suitable for the position it seems all these clowns do employ jokers that are clearly not qualified to do their respective jobs. Roost
Just checked the BRAG website and the stats show a total of 66 votes on the 'where are you marching from' page. .....for the biggest march in the history of BRFC? Really?
Rishton blue
A mate of mine living in Thailand left me a Facebook inbox last night. He said he was watching local Thai news and they were reporting on the protests in England and mentioned some in Norway and Canada too. Apparently not even Man United or Chelsea even make their local news
gumboots
Everyone has murdered us. To be fair, I heard Danny Kelly last night asking on Talksport why there is not more pressure on Steve Kean, and over the last few days I've heard little digs from several presenters suggesting that they are seeing through him at last. Far too little, far too late, but there are those like Henry Winter who have always been critical of the way the club is being run and managed. I think it would be wrong to suggest that Henry Winter has a soft spot for us but he at least keeps the sneer out of his voice when talking about Rovers and treats us with a bit of respect. One of the few good guys in the print media.
Mattyblue
I think he does have a soft spot. He always refers to us as 'Rovers', which some of our fans can't even manage. And he always is mentioning us as a 'good club', 'club full of tradition', 'fans deserve better' and so on. Not much I suppose, but it'll do for me considering the rest of the ill infomred hacks out there.

EwoodDawn
Think the police would have a say in the Fernhurst being a home pub.... It's fine to go in there anyway though as long as you aren't wearing colours. Just spoke to someone who works there. It's not going to be a home pub but also they don't want to encourage big crowds of away fans either. The aim is for it to steer away from that and I think she said there are even going to be fences up to dissuade the villa fans tomorrow. Could make things interesting. Ossydave
Sounds like certain protesters have been issuing threats to people with different opinions to their's via facebook/twitter etc Get a grip you simpletons, can't think of anything worse than standing side by side with some of the people attending the marches. John
Winter has been very complementary regarding us for years - just look at the 2 articles on Venkys at the end of last year and it is clear he had a soft spot for us.

Bluefudge
Noticed the main threats towards people on twitter, are coming from those who do not want protests. The protesters seem to be more tolerant than those who wish not to protest!!!

However threats to each other should be a definite no-go even without the media watching.
